[00:06] Did you know that for more than 10,000 [00:08] [music] [00:09] deaf Israelis, life is experienced [00:11] through sign language? And recently, the [00:12] government of Israel recognized the [00:15] official sign language. [music] And you [00:16] know, I'm outside of the Helen Keller [00:18] building, the center for the Association [00:20] of the Deaf here in Tel Aviv. And [00:22] recently, CBN Israel funded the media [00:24] room for the Deaf Association, a way for [00:27] them [00:27] >> [music] [00:27] >> to connect with the community, to [00:29] receive information, life-saving [00:31] information and resources [music] for [00:33] them to experience information in their [00:35] own language. [00:37] >> It's very important [music] that we will [00:38] have the media room because at the time [00:40] of the war, so many deaf people were so [00:42] thirsty to get information. They didn't [00:45] have 24/7 translation, [music] so we [00:47] took the initiative to give them some [00:49] more content that is suitable for them. [00:51] It was a very sad time. We brought the [00:53] chefs, like deaf chef, that he can teach [00:56] them how to cook in a time of war, [00:57] something very important because it's in [01:00] our language and we give it to our [01:02] community in their language. The Deaf [01:03] Association is 80 years old. For 80 [01:06] years, we didn't have anything like [01:07] that. [01:08] >> [music] [01:08] >> Until you came and then you brought this [01:10] big donation for the deaf community and [01:12] we really want to say thank you. We had [01:14] a dream to have our own channel. For [01:16] years, we had this dream together and we [01:19] never gave up on this dream. We waited [01:20] that it will happen and now it's [01:22] happening and I want to say thank you to [01:23] the CBN for the donation. [music] [01:26] I have no words. I come here and I come [01:28] with a big smile.
