Transcript [00:00] I'm so grateful for Passages. As a [00:02] college student, there's so many [00:04] different competing interests and things [00:06] to get involved in, but Passages [00:08] elevated Christ in my life and rep [00:11] prioritized my Christian identity. And [00:13] so, I was able to refocus on it um [00:16] during the latter half of my college [00:17] experience. [00:21] Some of the things that I found even [00:23] interesting so far from this morning um [00:24] just the understanding of uh the [00:26] defining some of these terms that we [00:28] hear online like Christian Zionism and [00:30] that we hear it thrown out in the media [00:32] um and really understanding what that [00:34] means in the history um and [00:35] understanding the ways in which it's [00:37] misused and misrepresented today by by [00:40] all sides of the political spectrum um [00:42] is super valuable and helps just build [00:44] leaders that can uh make their points [00:46] and debate and offer that conversation [00:48] um with their peers that much more [00:50] effectively. [01:03] So, we're here at the Museum of the [01:05] Bible with the passages group. I really [01:08] enjoyed the touring. We got to do a tour [01:10] of the Museum of the Bible. That has [01:11] been really impactful. I feel like I've [01:13] really just grown in my faith seeing [01:14] those exhibits. The people are really [01:16] friendly. I've gotten to uh make some [01:18] connections, meet a lot of great people. [01:20] Uh yeah, I've really enjoyed that. [01:24] >> Something that inspired me was some an [01:27] exhibit in the Museum of the Bible, it [01:30] was showing how many languages the Bible [01:33] has been translated into. And honestly, [01:36] the section that showed how many [01:38] languages it hasn't been translated [01:39] into. And there's people that are [01:41] working so hard to translate the Bible [01:44] into every language in this world. I [01:46] want everyone to have access to the [01:47] Bible. So that was inspiring. [01:57] Passages doing such a good job of [01:59] equipping me and other people to be able [02:02] to advocate for Israel and and in any [02:04] space that I go into in the future. [02:12] And being here with passages in DC has [02:15] left me inspired to spread correct [02:19] information, not misinformation to [02:21] people that I know where God has placed [02:23] me so that they are educated as well if [02:26] they were never able to make it to [02:28] things like this.
Young Christian leaders from across the country came to Washington, DC, with Passages for the Israel Impact Summit, and they left ready to lead.
They toured the Museum of the Bible, learned what terms like Christian Zionism really mean, and built friendships that will last well past the weekend. They’re going home ready to share the truth about Israel with their campuses, churches, and communities.
Passages brings a new generation of Christian leaders to Israel to deepen their faith, build lasting bonds with the Jewish people, and return home equipped to strengthen America.
