Transcript [00:00] Especially today, the number one threat [00:02] to Western civilization is predatory [00:04] political Islam that has infected and [00:07] invaded uh you know the West, especially [00:08] where you are in the UK in their you [00:11] know with their willing accompllices on [00:13] the Marxist left. What those two groups [00:14] have in common is that they deny and [00:17] despise biblical truth. They have a lot [00:19] of other things in common too. In fact, [00:21] I'm working on a book on all the all the [00:23] things they have in common at the [00:24] philosophical level, even at the [00:25] theological level. Uh it's an [00:27] interesting topic. But for anyone who [00:29] calls himself a Christian to embrace the [00:32] quote unquote Palestinian narrative is [00:34] just suicide. [00:39] And hello, thanks so much for joining [00:41] us. And with so much happening, two [00:43] articles I've written in the last week [00:45] on ineffect anti-semitism and the [00:48] growing aggression against Jews. And [00:51] today we're recording this a day before [00:53] with a demo in London celebrating [00:56] seemingly October the 7th. How perverse [00:58] can that be? Uh with a pro Palestine [01:02] demo going through London um and what [01:04] that means for the Jewish community. I [01:06] thought I would reach out to Rabbi Wiki [01:09] to come and give us his wisdom. So Rabbi [01:11] Wicki, thank you so much for your time [01:13] today as always. [01:15] >> Always an honor to be with you, Peter. [01:16] Thank you. [01:17] >> Oh, thank you. Um, always good to hear [01:20] the the different the different side to [01:22] the same story that possibly we both [01:24] look at. Um, but if I can ask you in in [01:29] terms of this concept and it was the [01:33] Green Party in the UK that passed in [01:35] their party resolution, party conference [01:37] resolution that Zionism equals racism. [01:41] Um, and that passed. um and that whole [01:45] concept that where we're moving towards [01:47] especially with a younger demographic I [01:49] think in the US and the UK um and I [01:52] wanted first of all to get your thoughts [01:54] on this term Zionism but even before [01:56] that I guess Zion which is a term used a [02:00] lot in the Old Testament um and seems to [02:04] be about a place but also a presence of [02:07] God. Do you want to maybe your [02:09] understanding as a Jew of what that word [02:12] those four letters Zion actually mean? [02:17] >> Well, tion in Hebrew, Zion is another [02:20] name for Jerusalem. We see it throughout [02:22] the Bible. And you know, it's an [02:24] interesting name because the word tion [02:27] or it's the exact same letters. It's the [02:29] same root. It's a different uh it's the [02:31] name of a place, but it's from the root. [02:34] Uh, and a tune in Hebrew is is something [02:38] that is a u sort of a marker or a [02:40] beacon, something that you can look to [02:42] and point to as a as a uh as a as a [02:45] critical location, right? Um, so for [02:48] example, in one of the words for a [02:51] tombstone or a monument is a sun. Okay, [02:55] it's the same idea. So, in in Hebrew [02:58] etmology, when you have a word that ends [03:00] in on, [03:02] and I'm getting into the weeds of [03:04] grammar and and etmology, [03:06] >> but a word that ends in when you take a [03:08] noun and you add the on suffix on it, it [03:12] means kind of like the ultimate [03:13] expression of it. So, let me give you an [03:15] example. The word al means on or high, [03:20] like above, [03:22] like lal is the name of the airline in [03:24] Israel, right? which means to the above [03:26] right above. Elon which is the same [03:28] letters as al but with the on suffix [03:31] means most high. So whenever we talk [03:32] about god as most high it's el yon okay [03:35] so the word the on suffix or for example [03:38] the day of atonement yonipur [03:42] is called in the bible in Leviticus 23 [03:45] shabbaton. So, it's a Shabbat [03:49] Sabbath, but it's the ultimate Sabbath. [03:51] Meaning, not only are we refraining from [03:52] work, but we're refraining from eat. [03:54] We're refraining from all worldly [03:56] affairs, right? We're not even eating, [03:57] right? Meaning, it's an ultimate [03:59] Shabbat, so to speak. So, tion to me is [04:02] the is the version as it is, the [04:05] ultimate version of the tune, of a place [04:08] that we point to, a place that we mark, [04:10] right? It's the that's because that's [04:12] what that's what Jerusalem is. And you [04:14] know what's amazing about that is that [04:15] this plays right into what the [04:18] anti-semitism, the obsession with the [04:20] Jews is all about. You know, like [04:22] there's no the whole world doesn't have [04:24] opinions about I don't know the people [04:26] from Finland, you know, it doesn't it [04:28] everyone's got an opinion about the [04:30] Jews. Everyone's pointing at the Jews [04:32] and and it depends how you see the Jews. [04:35] And I think that that this is what you [04:37] know when God said to Abraham that that [04:41] part of his mission and part of his [04:44] blessing to him is that I will bless [04:45] those who bless you and I will curse [04:47] those who curse you. [04:49] Is this isn't this isn't about you know [04:52] the Jewish people being a candy machine [04:53] that if you bless us you're going to get [04:55] blessing you know so it's a good thing [04:56] to do to you know you know for for [04:58] yourself and beware don't curse us [05:00] you're going to get cursed. I think God [05:01] was saying something more fundamental. [05:03] He's saying, "Listen, I'm choosing you [05:04] for a very important mission. You're [05:06] going to have a unique history that's [05:08] going to defy all the rules of history. [05:10] You're going to have a unique mission in [05:11] the world. And as a result of that, as a [05:14] result of being in the center of [05:15] everything, everyone's going to have an [05:16] opinion about you. And there are going [05:19] to be and there's there's not going to [05:20] be much middle ground. People are either [05:22] going to see you as a force for good, [05:24] and that's going to benefit you when you [05:26] see it that way. I will bless those who [05:28] bless you." And then there are those who [05:29] are going to resent you and are going to [05:31] be suspicious of you and they're going [05:32] to curse you and they're going to want [05:33] to destroy you and it's going to be to [05:35] their detriment. That's that's what he's [05:37] saying. I will curse those who curse [05:39] you. And you see it in every society [05:41] that has that has embraced anti- you [05:43] know this anti-Jewish obsession, this [05:45] anti-semitism, anti-Jewish conspiracies. [05:48] It the people look anti-semitism is not [05:51] a Jewish problem. I mean we're the [05:53] targets of it. But my personal opinion [05:57] is that all of the billions of dollars [05:59] that are spent by Jews to combat [06:01] anti-semitism is all a big waste of [06:03] money. I don't think it actually does [06:05] anything. I I'm not I'm not saying that [06:07] it's a grift. I'm not saying that that [06:10] people are donating for the wrong [06:12] reasons. I think that they're all [06:14] well-meaning these organizations devoted [06:16] to combating anti-semitism. They're all [06:18] very well-meaning people and they [06:20] believe that there's something they can [06:21] do about it. I have not seen in all my [06:23] years in Jewish public life, I have not [06:26] yet seen where the billions of dollars [06:28] spent fighting anti-semitism have had a [06:30] tangible result in reducing the hatred [06:33] of Jews. That doesn't mean that it's [06:35] that they're just a bunch of failures. [06:37] They're not. I think it's because [06:38] anti-semitism is not a problem for Jews [06:40] to solve. It's not something that we [06:42] really have a have a say in. It really [06:44] has to do with the deep psychology and [06:47] and you know, and and spiritual rot of [06:50] people. They've always been that way. [06:53] Who who resent success. They resent the [06:57] the very challenge that God places [06:59] before the nations of the world. The [07:01] Apostle Paul warns Gentile Christians [07:05] against boasting over the branches. He [07:07] warn in other words he warns them about [07:10] about looking negatively at the at the [07:14] root that they come from. Now why does [07:16] he have to warn them? He warns them [07:18] because he knows that this is a weakness [07:20] of the human condition. That people will [07:21] look at the Jews and they will see them [07:23] negatively. And he says, "You got to be [07:24] careful because look, the Jewish people [07:27] are not about the Jewish people. This [07:29] isn't about Jewish supremacy. [07:31] Let me back up even more. Let's let's [07:33] get really theological now. Why did God [07:36] choose one people? Why did he do that?" [07:39] Well, how does God reveal himself in the [07:42] world? He reveals himself in the world [07:45] through his word, through scripture and [07:47] also through what he does on this earth. [07:50] And the most overt explicit way that God [07:53] reveals himself is something that we [07:55] call miracles. And you know, depending [07:58] on what what type of Christian or Jew [08:00] you talk to, you'll get different [08:02] definitions of miracles. You'll have [08:03] some of my Pentecostal friends will call [08:05] every happy coincidence a miracle. But [08:08] let's let's narrow the definition of a [08:10] miracle, okay? To the ones that are [08:12] unequivocal miracles like the splitting [08:14] of the Red Sea or the 10 plagues in [08:15] Egypt, okay? A miracle is, and here's my [08:18] definition. I think it's a sound [08:20] definition. A miracle is an instance [08:23] where God [08:25] breaks the laws of nature for his [08:27] purposes. But we're going to go even [08:30] further. The really because even those [08:33] could still be happy coincidences or [08:35] acts of nature that are unusual. The [08:38] really 100% airtight miracles are when [08:41] God breaks the rules of nature for his [08:43] purposes and tells us about it in [08:45] advance. Those are the unequivocal [08:48] miracles. All the 10 plagues in Egypt [08:50] fall into that category. Moses was told [08:51] about them in advance. This is what I'm [08:53] going to do. And uh and six out of the [08:55] 10, I'm sorry, seven out of the 10, [08:57] Pharaoh was also told in advance. There [08:59] are three where Moses doesn't tell him. [09:00] That's a exogetical issue we could talk [09:02] about sometime. But these are the these [09:06] are the the pure miracles. [09:08] And what's more, when God does a miracle [09:12] and he tells us in advance throughout [09:14] the Bible, God will also say that I'm [09:17] doing this so that people will know that [09:19] I am God. So for example, again, the 10 [09:21] plagues in Egypt, God tells Moses that [09:23] he's doing this so that Egypt shall know [09:25] that I am the Lord over all the earth. [09:27] Right? There's a few that phrase appears [09:29] a few times in those chapters in Exodus. [09:31] In the book of Ezekiel, the phrase and [09:34] they shall know that I am the Lord [09:36] appears many times. Ezekiel liked that [09:38] phrase because Ezekiel was talking a lot [09:41] about the end times. Now, if that's the [09:44] definition of a miracle [09:46] and that's how God So, when God God sets [09:49] up the rules of nature and then he [09:50] chooses to break them for his purposes, [09:52] he tells us in advance and then we all [09:53] point to it and say, "Aha, that's God." [09:55] Right? So the nation of Israel, they see [09:57] the sea split and it and it says in the [09:58] Bible they saw the Lord and they and and [10:01] they feared him and they knew that he [10:02] was the Lord. Right? Basically they they [10:04] knew God through his actions. [10:07] Well, how does God show his dominion [10:10] over history? [10:12] Over history does the same thing. He [10:15] sets up rules for history that govern [10:18] history that govern that govern the [10:20] entire history of humanity. And then he [10:22] chooses one nation [10:24] and he says in advance that they are [10:26] going to have a completely anomalous [10:28] unusual history that's going to break [10:30] all the rules. [10:31] So in the ancient world many different [10:34] nations went into exile. [10:36] Many and that's why you don't know any [10:38] Ammonites or Moabites or whatever a [10:40] whole host of other nations that don't [10:42] exist anymore. Many many nations were [10:44] conquered by invading empires. The [10:47] fighting age males would be, you know, [10:49] would have their heads chopped off and [10:50] everyone would get sent into exile and [10:52] within a generation or two the national [10:54] identity would be gone, subsumed in some [10:56] other national identity. And as this [10:58] happened as empires swept the earth in [11:00] in in, you know, in different [11:01] directions. That's how all these ancient [11:04] peoples lost their identity. The nation [11:06] of Israel is a tiny people. We're even, [11:08] it even says in the Bible in Deuteronomy [11:10] chapter 7 that we're the least of all [11:12] peoples and we still are. We're less [11:14] than half of 1% of the world's [11:15] population. And God tells us in advance [11:18] that here's what's going to happen. [11:20] You're going to get conquered. You're [11:21] going to get sent into exile. This is [11:23] Deuteronomy 28:29. You're going to get [11:25] sent into exile. You're going to get [11:26] scattered to the four corners of the [11:28] earth. And it's going to go on for a [11:29] very long time. And we're told that over [11:32] and over again in the Bible. Now, again, [11:34] the rules of history are that when a [11:37] nation gets conquered and exiled and [11:39] scattered into exile, within a couple [11:41] generations, that's the end of that [11:43] nation. They're gone. [11:46] And there's only one nation that is an [11:49] exception to that rule and it's the [11:51] Jews. We were sent into exile for a very [11:54] long time and we survived. And lo and [11:57] behold, the one exception to that rule [11:59] is also the one that God said in advance [12:01] would be an exception to that rule. [12:03] Okay. So by the basic definition of a [12:07] miracle, [12:08] the the history of the Jewish people is [12:10] miraculous. Is this Jewish supremacy? [12:12] It's been a really rough road for most [12:14] of that time. Okay? It hasn't been fun [12:16] being a Jew for most of our history. For [12:18] most of the time, no one was looking at [12:19] Jews and saying they claim to be [12:20] superior to everyone else. On the [12:22] contrary, we were we were despised and [12:24] persecuted for most of that time. But my [12:27] point is that the purpose of the Jewish [12:28] people is not the Jewish people. The [12:30] purpose of the Jewish people is we are [12:32] God uses us. He chose to use this nation [12:35] as a way of revealing himself to the [12:38] world. So Ezekiel over and over again [12:39] when he talks about the in gathering of [12:41] the nation of Israel at the end times, [12:43] he says, "And they shall know that I am [12:44] the Lord." In other words, when you see, [12:47] oh, this is what God predicted he would [12:49] do. He predicted that there would be one [12:51] tiny nation scattered into exile that [12:53] would remain in exile and keep their [12:56] identity for for many generations. And [12:58] then they're gonna they're going to [12:59] miraculously return to their land and [13:01] become, in the words of Deuteronomy 30, [13:03] more numerous and more prosperous than [13:05] their ancestors. And voila, it happened. [13:07] Now, that opens up the test for the [13:10] nations of the world. The question is, [13:12] how do you see that? How do you see [13:14] that? And and there's nothing there's [13:16] not a whole lot that Jews can do to [13:18] alter different people's mindsets about [13:20] how they're going to see it. That's why [13:21] I'm saying anti-semitism, this this [13:23] seeing anti Zionism as as racism. This [13:27] is all this is not a Jewish problem and [13:28] it's not for us to solve. But I have to [13:31] say, Peter, if you're going to say that [13:32] Zionism is racism, [13:34] you know, especially when the left says [13:36] it, what they I'll tell you what they [13:39] really mean. They mean that nationalism [13:42] is racism because the left [13:46] actually believes that the re one of the [13:48] reasons that they are so [13:51] u they are they are so it is so they're [13:55] incapable [13:56] of saying that mass immigration is a bad [13:59] thing. is that they don't actually [14:01] believe in national identities. So when [14:04] migrants from, I don't know, Algeria or [14:08] Yemen show up at the, you know, at the [14:10] border of of uh of England and say, "Let [14:14] me in. What right do you have? I'm a I'm [14:16] a I'm a human being. The rights of every [14:18] individual are identical and national [14:21] identities is just a type of xenophobia [14:23] and racism." [14:25] So they want to they want to shut them [14:26] out. So the idea that a Jewish people, a [14:29] Jewish nation wants to return to its [14:32] land and reconstitute itself as a nation [14:34] in its own land with its own identity [14:38] and that yes, there are different [14:39] immigration rules for Jews because [14:41] because we are the because because we're [14:44] a nation state and we believe in [14:46] national identities and people say that [14:48] that's racism, right? because they [14:50] believe that all national all n all [14:52] assertion of national identity is racist [14:55] in the minds of these leftists. And this [14:57] this speaks to how Israel is in the [15:00] crosshairs because Israel today is the [15:03] ultimate expression of the nation state. [15:06] And the nation state is what has been [15:08] under attack by the left for decades. [15:11] Well, let me I want to touch on the the [15:14] the the miracle because the miracle from [15:17] back when God said to Abraham, look up [15:19] at the stars and your descendants will [15:20] be as numerous as this all the way [15:22] through the story. Um and all the way to [15:25] today that Israel actually survives and [15:28] exists as a nation state is a miracle. [15:31] Um but I want just the I think the the [15:34] understanding of even the word and just [15:37] touch on this a bit and then I'll get [15:39] into that clash that hatred that is [15:42] building up against um against Jews. Uh [15:46] back when I guess you to look at Zion [15:48] it's it wasn't used before. It seemed to [15:51] be a physical place on the edge of [15:54] Jerusalem and then was adopted as [15:56] Jerusalem. Mount Zion. Uh it wasn't um [15:59] uh it wasn't the matrix that came up [16:01] with the term. Actually, it was [16:03] thousands of years ago in the Bible. But [16:05] you've got that, but it also it's not [16:07] just a place. It seems to be the [16:09] presence of God. You've got that, I [16:11] guess, spiritual connection. Um but [16:14] you've also got that physical. So, [16:16] you've got the I guess the spiritual and [16:19] the the political kind of coming [16:21] together, which kind of is what Israel [16:25] is about. You've got you've got a [16:27] position land, but also you've got the [16:29] relationship spiritual and you've kind [16:31] of got those two coming together. Um [16:33] maybe that concept is something that a [16:36] lot of people today don't really [16:37] understand. [16:39] >> Oh, that's absolutely true. But you know [16:40] who does understand it? Kamas. [16:43] >> Yes, [16:44] >> they understand it. You know [16:47] the the name for the war that they [16:52] started on October 7th. the attacks of [16:55] October 7th where 6,000 [16:59] uh kamas terrorists and Palestinian [17:01] Islamic jihad and others plus many more [17:05] uh civilians in Gaza poured across, [17:08] raped, murdered, [17:10] did what they did. They have a name for [17:13] it. Kamas has a name for it. Their name [17:16] for that operation, just like every [17:17] country names military operations, their [17:19] name is the Al Axa flood. [17:23] That's their name for it, the Al Aka [17:26] flood. Now, Al Aka is the Muslim name [17:29] for the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. And [17:32] Peter, those terrorists got nowhere near [17:34] Jerusalem. The Gaza Strip is nowhere [17:35] near Jerusalem. It's in the other edge [17:37] of the country. [17:40] Why did they name their attacks on the [17:42] towns around the Gaza Strip, the Al Axa [17:46] flood? Because they know that this war [17:49] is all about Jerusalem. They know that [17:52] that's what it's about. Jerusalem, you [17:54] know, the [17:57] Islam is about conquest. [18:00] And the crusaders who who went to take [18:03] Jerusalem back from the Muslims also [18:05] understood this. What is the definition [18:07] of Jerusalem [18:09] is is uh is just an essential it's an [18:13] existential issue for the West. And [18:15] that's this is what so many of the Jew [18:17] haters in the West don't understand. And [18:19] I'm speaking now especially to those on [18:20] the right who've got all you know you [18:23] know who who are all confused with this [18:25] anti-semitic rhetoric that is now making [18:27] headway on the right. They just don't [18:29] get it that what is Jerusalem? Either [18:33] Jerusalem is a place where there was a [18:35] temple and if you're Christian that [18:38] temple appears prominently in many of [18:40] the narratives in the New Testament. It [18:42] it is a place where Jesus worshiped [18:45] where Paul worshiped. [18:47] Either that temple stood either that [18:49] temple stood on that temple mount [18:52] and the Jew and or it didn't. And the [18:55] Muslims claim it didn't. The Muslim [18:57] claims the Muslims claim that that's a [18:59] lie. [19:01] So if any Christian [19:05] who supports the idea that the Temple [19:09] Mount in Jerusalem should be part of [19:11] some Palestinian state and that Israel [19:13] are illegal occupiers of it [19:16] is denying their own heritage as a [19:18] Christian. They don't. And this is again [19:22] Jew hatred ends up hurting the people [19:26] who are the haters themselves. I feel [19:28] bad for them. uh you know the but it's [19:32] especially today where the number one [19:35] the number one threat to western [19:37] civilization is is predatory political [19:40] Islam that has infected and and invaded [19:44] uh you know the west especially where [19:46] you are in the UK [19:48] in their you know with their willing [19:49] accompllices on the Marxist left. [19:53] What those two groups have in common is [19:55] that they deny and despise biblical [19:59] truth. [20:01] They have a lot of other things in [20:02] common too. In fact, I'm working on a [20:04] book on what on all the all the things [20:06] they have in common at the philosophical [20:07] level, even at the theological level. Uh [20:10] it's an interesting topic. But for for [20:14] anyone who calls himself a Christian to [20:16] embrace the quote unquote Palestinian [20:19] narrative is just suicide. [20:24] No, I know. And I I wanted to say that I [20:27] think Jesus quoted the Old Testament [20:28] nearly 80 times and that shows that and [20:31] of course Jesus taught in the in the [20:33] synagogue. Um that shows that I think [20:36] that concept of giving honor to what's [20:39] come before you and respect to what's [20:41] come before you. Um and Jesus showed [20:44] that uh time and time again. But where [20:48] this is this a is what we see today a [20:54] anger or hatred against Jews or is it a [20:57] fear of Islam? Um how do you how do you [21:00] see it? Because we see some of our [21:02] leaders petrified of saying anything [21:05] that might get their head chopped off. [21:07] Therefore they bring in Islamophobia, [21:09] blasphemy laws and all the other side. [21:12] Um, and there's kind of a focus on that [21:15] and the small Jewish community certainly [21:17] in the UK and London in North London [21:19] that gets smaller and smaller is just [21:21] left to the side and you deal with it. [21:23] We're going to focus. So, is it is it [21:26] about a hatred or is it about a fear? [21:29] >> Well, I think when you're talking about [21:30] the politicians themselves, it's [21:32] probably about a fear because these are [21:34] not people with uh, you know, with real [21:37] values. These are I mean these [21:38] politicians are just feckless people who [21:40] want to stay in power and they think [21:42] that if they you know that appeasement [21:44] is the way to go and they want to be [21:45] able to show their face at the cocktail [21:46] parties with their with their other [21:48] progressive friends and and and be [21:50] politically correct on the world stage [21:52] and the people at the World Economic [21:53] Forum will like them and this is what [21:56] they're interested in. So that's just I [21:58] mean that's not serious. [22:00] What I I think the real [22:05] when we talk about uh uh you know the [22:07] real problem of ideological rot or [22:10] confusion I'm talking more about the [22:12] people people who get swept up in this [22:14] who buy into this who buy into the idea [22:15] that Zionism is racism who buy into the [22:18] idea that the Jewish people do not have [22:21] rights to the Jewish homeland in Judea [22:24] and Samaria and and and Jerusalem. you [22:27] know, they when people buy into that [22:30] they, you know, the uh the idea that [22:32] that the quoteunquote Palestinians are [22:34] indigenous and they just simply don't [22:35] know basic history that there was a that [22:37] there was a Muslim conquest of the [22:40] Levant that took place in the seventh [22:41] and eth centuries where they slaughtered [22:43] the Christian populations there and took [22:45] over and that's that was the colonialism [22:48] that is colonialism and and genocide. [22:52] The colonialism and genocide in the [22:53] Middle East is the slaughter of [22:55] Christian communities and the [22:57] colonization by Muslim Arabs of Egypt [23:01] and Syria and what is today Jordan and [23:04] Iraq and and the land of Israel in the [23:07] Ottoman Empire. And that that's you know [23:09] ultimately the Ottoman Empire was the [23:10] ultimate you know expression of that [23:12] colonialism and the return of the Jewish [23:15] people to the land of Israel to [23:17] reconstitute ourselves as a nation state [23:19] in our homeland is the opposite of [23:21] colonialism. It's the throwing off of [23:23] the yoke of colonialism. So again back [23:26] to the point about Zionism is racism you [23:29] know anyone who says that is is really [23:33] at look attacks on the Jews always come [23:37] before attacks on Christians. The [23:39] Muslims even have an expression for [23:41] this. First the Saturday people then the [23:42] Sunday people and this is a graffiti [23:44] that appears all over the Muslim world. [23:46] It's a slogan that they chant and you [23:49] know or sometimes people say the Jews [23:51] are the canary in the coal mine. First [23:52] they come for the Jews then they come [23:53] for the Christians. That's the way it [23:54] goes. And the same is true here. Zionism [23:58] is racism. Okay. What you're basically [24:00] saying is that [24:03] the Jewish nation doesn't really exist [24:05] as a nation that has rights to its own [24:07] homeland. [24:09] Look, [24:11] there is a new anti-semitism that has [24:13] come up in the Christian world that [24:17] never existed before a few decades ago. [24:19] A new type of a brand new flavor of [24:21] anti-semitism. And I've written about [24:23] this. I've talked about it many times. [24:26] And that is this this growing popular [24:30] idea that the Jewish people of today [24:33] aren't the Jews of the Bible. [24:36] I think we talked about this once [24:37] before, Peter, but it's worth repeating. [24:39] This idea that the Jews today aren't the [24:41] Jews of the Bible. And what's so [24:42] fascinating about that, I remember the [24:43] first time I encountered it, and I was [24:45] just like, "Oh, that's such a strange [24:46] claim." It didn't bother me. Again, you [24:49] have to understand most Jews [24:52] when when anti-semmites throw all sorts [24:54] of accusations at us, it doesn't make us [24:56] feel bad because we know that it's [24:57] nonsense. I mean, we kind of feel bad [24:59] for the people saying it and we want to [25:01] stay out of their way so they don't harm [25:02] us. But the anti-semites tend to think [25:04] that they're intimidating us or that [25:06] we're going to, you know, uh, you feel [25:07] guilty. It it doesn't work that way. [25:09] It's it it it fails if that's the goal. [25:13] But I remember I first heard this claim [25:15] that the Jews of today aren't the aren't [25:16] the real Jews. And I was like, okay, [25:18] there's two interesting things about [25:19] that claim. Number one, it's extremely [25:22] easy to refute, and the people who say [25:24] it have no idea how easy it is to [25:26] refute. [25:28] The second strange thing about it is [25:31] that all of the uh authors [25:36] throughout Christian history, and there [25:37] were plenty of them, and I'm not going [25:39] to get I'm not going to get all [25:40] anacronistic and say, oh, you know, [25:41] Luther was an anti-semite. Luther hated [25:43] Jews, but it made sense in his time. I I [25:45] don't I don't begrudge him that he [25:47] looked around him and he saw the Jewish [25:49] people in a in a perpetual exile and he [25:52] just and they weren't accepting Jesus [25:54] and they and he didn't he didn't embrace [25:56] the idea that they would ever return to [25:57] their land. He had accepted the you know [26:00] the replacement theology that he had [26:01] been trained on. I don't blame him for [26:03] that and he did a lot of good things [26:05] too. So I I'm I'm not weighing in on [26:06] that. That's anacronistic. Everyone was [26:10] everyone was a racist back in the day. I [26:11] mean like I'm not going to I'm not going [26:13] to go there. That's silly. [26:15] But no matter how much Luther hated the [26:18] Jews, and he wrote a whole book called [26:19] On the Jews and their lies about his [26:21] hatred of the Jews, advocated for [26:23] burning of synagogues and not allowing [26:25] Jews to use the roads. I mean, it was he [26:28] was he really did not like us and many [26:30] others there many Christian thinkers [26:31] throughout history who were who didn't [26:33] like the Jews very much, [26:36] including Augustine. [26:37] But none of them ever claimed that the [26:40] Jews of their time weren't the real [26:42] Jews. That was never that was never [26:46] something anti-semites claimed. [26:50] Why? So why did this brand new claim [26:52] just show up a few decades ago? Really? [26:55] It's it's it's not even it's barely a [26:57] few decades ago. It's a very recent [26:59] claim. There was always some fringe [27:00] weirdos who thought that like, you know, [27:02] the Jews are all converts from some [27:04] strange kingdom, which doesn't make any [27:06] sense because the majority of Jews in [27:07] the world are from Sphartic Arab [27:09] countries anyway that has nothing to do [27:10] with that. Uh so it's it's all silly and [27:13] like you know or people will look at [27:14] Israel and think it's some European [27:16] colonial Jewish project when the [27:18] majority of Jews in Israel are actually [27:21] refugees from the Arab world uh from [27:24] from places like Iraq and Morocco and [27:26] and uh and Yemen and other places like [27:29] that. So whatever that's all that's all [27:31] just nonsense people there are people [27:33] who believe that you've met them. I've [27:34] met them who who believe that the Jews [27:36] aren't the real Jews. But this is all a [27:38] very recent phenomena. So, first of all, [27:42] why is it so easy to refute? Because the [27:44] people who make this claim that the Jews [27:46] today aren't the real Jews don't know [27:48] Jewish history. So, they don't know that [27:50] there is literally an unbroken chain of [27:53] tradition of the Jewish community [27:55] worldwide. We know exactly where we've [27:58] been. Uh we know exactly who we are. We [28:01] have books written by Jewish leadership, [28:03] by rabbis and other types of communal [28:05] leaders from literally every century and [28:09] almost every single generation going all [28:11] the way back to temple times. It's an [28:13] unbroken chain. To illustrate this [28:15] point, if someone was to say the Jews of [28:18] today aren't the real Jews, you say, [28:19] "Okay, are the Jews of today the same as [28:21] the people who called themselves Jews [28:23] 200 years ago?" And they would say, [28:24] "Well, yeah, of course, because we have [28:26] family trees." Okay, great. Are they the [28:28] are the Jews of 200 years ago the same [28:30] as the Jews of 300 years ago? Are the [28:32] Jews of 300 years ago the same as the [28:34] Jews of 400 years ago? Because we have [28:36] books. We have records of these [28:38] communities. So where does the lie [28:40] begin? Like where on that on that [28:42] unbroken chain of tradition can you draw [28:45] a line and say that's the that's the [28:47] Jews of the Bible and this is the new [28:49] fake Jews who replaced them. Like it the [28:51] whole thing makes zero sense. Okay. So [28:53] it's very and that's why there's not a [28:54] single reputable historian who who buys [28:57] into that. Now the reason that the claim [28:59] works on so many people, the reason [29:01] young people today are so impressionable [29:03] and can easily believe if someone says [29:05] to them, "Yeah, the Jews today aren't [29:06] the same as the Jews of the Bible," the [29:08] reason it's so believable to them is two [29:10] reasons. Number one, they themselves [29:12] don't identify with anyone from [29:13] thousands of years ago because most [29:15] modern people, especially in the West, [29:17] don't feel any identification with any [29:19] ancient people, even though they are [29:21] technically the descendants of them. [29:23] Someone who was born in Greece today, [29:25] raised as a Greek, doesn't feel that [29:27] they're reading their own personal [29:28] history when they read the history of [29:29] Athens and Sparta. I know this because [29:32] I've spoken to Greeks. People who are [29:34] Italian today don't feel that they're [29:36] reading their own personal history when [29:37] they read the history of Rome, even [29:39] though they probably are. People, modern [29:41] people have kind of severed their [29:43] connection to the ancient world. So, if [29:45] you say to someone, "The Jews of today [29:46] aren't the real Jews," it kind of rings [29:48] true for them, even though it's it's [29:49] easily refutable. The second reason that [29:51] they believe it easily is that they have [29:54] this idea that Middle Easterners are [29:57] sworthy Arab dark people. But that's all [30:00] because the Arabs invaded [30:03] the areas around the land of Israel, the [30:06] original Christian civilization. They [30:08] invaded and slaughtered everyone in the [30:09] 7th century and 8th century. That's the [30:13] only reason that people think Middle [30:14] Easterners are brown people. [30:18] So you put those two things together, [30:20] it's very easy to point at someone like [30:21] me and say they're not the real Jews. [30:24] Okay? So it it works. But then there's [30:26] the question, why? Why did this new type [30:29] of anti-semitism pop up now? And the [30:32] answer is very simple because there's [30:34] only two options. We either are the same [30:37] Jewish people, the same corporate [30:38] entity, the Jewish nation that has lived [30:41] in exile and was exiled by the Romans, [30:44] and we're the same as the Jews of the of [30:46] biblical times, or we are not. And if we [30:50] are the same as the Jews of biblical [30:52] times, then lo and behold, the most [30:55] repeated prophecy in the Bible that the [30:58] people of Israel after a lengthy exile [31:01] will return one day to their land to [31:03] become more numerous and more prosperous [31:05] there than ever before as an independent [31:07] nation in their homeland has happened. [31:09] And that's not even you don't even have [31:10] to believe in God to say that. If the [31:12] Jewish people, if you can see a [31:14] historical record that it's the same [31:15] Jewish people and then it's then it's [31:17] just an empirical fact that the Jewish [31:19] people after a long exile have come home [31:22] and that's a fulfillment of the [31:24] predictions in the Bible. You can call [31:25] them predictions or prophecies depending [31:27] on your faith or lack of it. [31:30] But that's the or the Jewish people are [31:34] not the Jews of the Bible in which case [31:37] we're just thieves who came in and took [31:39] land away from these Arabs. [31:42] So [31:45] if someone wants to hate the Jews, if [31:47] someone wants to call themselves a [31:49] Christian and say, "I believe in the [31:50] Bible. I believe in God," but they still [31:52] want to hate Israel, they're kind of [31:55] stuck [31:57] if they accept the fact that the Jews of [31:58] today are the Jews of the Bible. Because [32:00] how can they hate Israel if the [32:02] fulfillment of those biblical prophecies [32:03] is staring them in the face? So their [32:06] only way out is to deny that the Jews [32:09] are actually the Jews. And then so you [32:11] know, so that that's my theory as to why [32:13] this new form of Christian anti-semitism [32:16] has popped up in the last few years [32:18] because there's people who hate the Jews [32:20] and it's it's part of how they, you [32:23] know, cope with with the world and they [32:27] can't help it. [32:29] Anyway, that's my take on it. [32:31] >> Maybe what are your thoughts? [32:33] >> No, I want to um I don't want to hear my [32:36] thoughts. I want to hear your thoughts. [32:38] >> I guess that's why you had me on. No. [32:40] Um, and [32:41] >> I'll have you on my podcast. We can get [32:42] your thoughts. [32:43] >> We'll swap over the [laughter] [32:45] the the term Zionism simply is the right [32:50] of the Jewish people to the homeland. It [32:52] it's fairly simple and it's a very small [32:55] homeland. You drive across in what, 90 [32:57] minutes. Um, it it's it's tiny. And my [33:01] confusion is when I talk to those maybe [33:05] on the right is that even if you're not [33:08] a Christian, even if you don't believe [33:10] the promises that God has given, even if [33:12] you don't believe Israel is a miracle by [33:15] God and that God is still there today [33:18] with uh with the Jewish people, if you [33:20] don't believe that, it's a heck of a lot [33:22] better to have the nation of Israel [33:26] where it is being a thorn in the side to [33:30] the rest of the Islamic world in the [33:32] Middle East. It's better to have that [33:34] than not. And it's better to have a [33:36] nation that is available to the US, for [33:40] instance, if it wants to use it. And [33:44] that's been a relationship that's always [33:46] worked. Um, and yet that is a [33:48] relationship that is under strain. I [33:51] think the what the old line was that [33:53] Israel is America's aircraft carrier in [33:55] the Middle East or something like that. [33:56] And I don't know why that's changed [33:59] because strategically, politically, um, [34:02] geopolitically, it makes sense to have [34:04] Israel there and you want to keep them [34:05] there. And if that costs you a few [34:08] billion here and there in terms of which [34:10] is minuscule in terms of any aid um, or [34:14] early arm sales, then then so be it. Why [34:17] is that not a good thing for America's [34:20] position and for the freedoms of the [34:22] West? [34:23] I mean, you're asking me to get into the [34:25] heads of the people who who don't get [34:26] it. I mean, it's I I'm I'm at a loss as [34:30] well. I mean, like, you know, Josh [34:33] Hammer, who I'm I'm sure I'm sure I [34:36] don't know if you know Josh. [34:37] >> So, Josh has this once uh he recently [34:40] was on a webinar that we did at Israel [34:42] 365. He was one of the speakers [34:45] and he had a great definition of an [34:47] ally. [34:48] He said, "An ally is a state that when [34:54] they advance their own national [34:56] interests, by doing so, they also [34:59] advance your national interests." I [35:02] thought it was a beautiful definition of [35:03] an ally. Right? If you have a nation [35:04] that their advance of their national [35:06] interests actually runs against yours, [35:08] that's not an ally, right? That's a it's [35:11] a great definition. And it's kind of [35:13] patently obvious as you laid it out if [35:15] you look at the Middle East today that [35:18] Israel is a is a bull work against so [35:23] much you know so much danger to the rest [35:25] of the world to the west and that [35:27] Israel's fighting the battle of the west [35:29] there's also the spiritual angle as I [35:30] told you that you know the the the [35:34] Muslim world and according to Muslim [35:36] doctrine they must eradicate the infidel [35:40] from especially from territory that was [35:42] once under the control of an Islamic [35:44] caliphate which Israel having been under [35:46] the Ottoman Empire falls into that [35:48] category. So you now have this [35:55] everyone recognizes the problem of Islam [35:58] running roughshot over Europe and [36:01] through minuscule collapsing isn't even [36:04] the word. Almost non-existent birth [36:06] rates among native Europeans and high [36:09] birth rates among Muslim uh immigrants. [36:13] I don't know if you I don't even know if [36:14] immigration is the right word. It's [36:15] invasion because as as as has been said [36:18] before and Charlie Kirk tweeted this out [36:20] once, although it wasn't his line, [36:23] immigration without assimilation is [36:25] invasion, right? Because if you're [36:26] coming into a country you have no [36:27] intention of being part of that national [36:29] identity and that national culture, [36:31] you're simply an invader. In any event, [36:33] these Muslim invaders are taking over [36:35] European countries. They're altering [36:38] they're altering the cultures of these [36:40] countries in an irreparable way. And [36:43] every native European knows that this is [36:45] a problem. And yet so many of those same [36:47] native Europeans are pointing the finger [36:49] at Israel as though we're the problem in [36:50] the world. And we're fighting these guys [36:54] and defending the very heritage that all [36:57] of Western civilization is built upon. [36:59] It the whole thing is it's it's so it's [37:02] so absurd that I mean it really requires [37:04] some some real uh you know psychological [37:07] analysis to try to understand where the [37:10] Jew hatred is really coming from. And [37:12] you know it's again as a Jew it this is [37:15] not a problem for me to solve. [37:17] >> Um I've seen the rise certainly in the [37:20] UK and I think in the US as well on [37:22] campuses on in universities of this [37:26] change I think in a in a generation [37:29] where um kids now going through [37:31] university there is a much more negative [37:35] view of Israel than than their their [37:38] parents had. It's a more pro view of [37:42] organizations like Hamas, um, of the [37:45] so-called Palestinians, of Islam. Um, I [37:49] don't know if is that I mean, Israel [37:51] never helps themselves in terms of the [37:52] PR. Um, again, I will offer $7,000 a [37:56] tweet. I'm very happy to do that. if [37:58] anyone. But if I is it is it a an [38:02] inability office to distinguish between [38:07] the current political state of Israel in [38:10] terms of leadership in terms of power [38:12] election from something which is that [38:15] longer thread to the the history and the [38:18] people because so often I think [38:21] >> I don't think that's what it's about. [38:22] >> Okay. I don't think that's what it's [38:24] about at all because look the there is a [38:27] fantasy uh of many people in the west [38:30] that if somehow Netanyahu would get [38:32] replaced there would be you know more [38:34] favorable [38:36] uh you know leadership in Israel and [38:38] that it wouldn't hurt Israel's PR that's [38:40] absolute nonsense that there's such [38:41] because on the issues that everyone [38:43] demonizes Israel over there's total [38:45] consensus on them meaning in terms of uh [38:48] how we're handling kamas how we're [38:49] handling [38:51] there's also many many lies told about [38:52] Israel in these contexts that are [38:54] verifiable easily easily verifiable [38:57] verifiable lies. Uh there's I I really, [39:02] you know, Israel has not done a good job [39:05] on the messaging. That's true, but I [39:07] don't think that's entirely on Israel. I [39:09] think uh there there's a the enemies [39:13] have poured tremendous amounts of money [39:15] into mass media into Alazer being piped [39:19] into homes throughout the West, which is [39:20] a Qatari propaganda machine. And let's [39:23] remember Qatar is run by people who hold [39:25] the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood. [39:27] And yet Al Jazzer is considered a [39:29] legitimate outlet. We have Tik Tok that [39:33] you know studies of this have shown that [39:35] the number of anti-Israel posts on Tik [39:38] Tok outnumber the number of pro-Israel [39:41] posts on Tik Tok by orders I mean [39:43] thousands to one. It's insane. And young [39:47] people uh are you know they're looking [39:50] at they're looking at these things. They [39:52] also hear certain talking points [39:53] especially in America [39:56] and there's a disconnect between America [39:57] and the rest of the world by the way [39:59] political conservatives in most other [40:01] parts of the world are generally [40:03] pro-Israel. [40:04] >> Uh it's a problem it's in it's really in [40:06] in the United States we have this [40:08] disturbing phenomenon of young political [40:11] conservatives who are anti-Israel and a [40:13] lot of that is fueled by a combination [40:16] this this really this real you know [40:17] witches brew of a number of different [40:19] factors. One of them is that Israel is [40:22] officially, and I say officially, the [40:25] number one recipient of aid from the [40:26] United States. And why do I say [40:27] officially? Because Israel is, you know, [40:32] the United States has has uh military [40:35] bases all over the Middle East, right? [40:36] They have a massive base. They have more [40:38] than one base in Kuwait, in Qatar, Saudi [40:41] Arabia. They have multiple bases in [40:43] Jordan. Uh I mean, all over the Middle [40:45] East, the United States has military [40:47] bases. They do not have a military base [40:49] in Israel. [40:51] Why? They have bases everywhere else [40:54] because there's no need for one. [40:57] But Israel receives military aid from [41:00] the United States. $3.8 billion that [41:02] then all has to be spent, 100% of it has [41:04] to be spent in the United States on [41:06] weapons. Okay. [41:08] Now, the massive air base in Jordan, and [41:12] there's a second base in Jordan that [41:14] isn't an air base. There's another [41:15] There's another base in Jordan. Multiple [41:16] bases in Jordan. If we add up the cost [41:19] of those bases, [41:23] are they more or less than the $3.8 [41:25] billion spent in Israel? But wait a [41:29] second, those bases in Jordan aren't [41:31] aid. That's defense spending. It's a [41:35] different line item in the budget. So [41:37] this is called defense spending. This is [41:39] called aid. And voila, Israel is the [41:42] number one recipient of aid. [41:44] But if instead of using the term aid or [41:46] defense spending, we just ask what is [41:48] America's bottom line, how much how much [41:51] are they spending on this on the [41:54] security of Israel in the form of [41:56] military aid that that that's then spent [41:59] by purchasing weapons from the United [42:00] States? How much are they spending on [42:02] the security of Jordan? How much are [42:04] they s spending on the security of [42:05] Qatar? How much are they spending on the [42:08] security of Saudi Arabia? I think we'll [42:09] find that Israel's probably not even in [42:11] the top 10. [42:13] So, it's all really a word game. Oh, [42:16] Israel is the greatest recipient of aid. [42:18] Nevertheless, many young Americans buy [42:20] into this and they and they, oh, Israel [42:22] is the number one recipient of aid. [42:23] We're spending billions and billions of [42:24] dollars. [42:26] It's a pittance what they're spending in [42:27] Israel. And or or also there's this and [42:30] part of that is this idea that we're [42:32] spending billions of dollars on military [42:33] aid to Israel. That means that we're [42:35] bankrolling what Israel is doing. And [42:37] they don't realize that the military aid [42:38] to Israel is less than 10% of Israel's [42:41] defense budget. Never mind that it's a [42:43] it's a tiny percentage of our national [42:45] budget. Okay, it's it's not even 10% of [42:48] our of our defense budget. [42:51] Okay, it's they're not the United States [42:54] isn't bankrolling Israel's military, but [42:56] you have that issue for Americans that [42:57] you don't have elsewhere, right? A [42:59] political conservative young person in [43:01] in in Argentina who's a you know who's a [43:04] fan of Javier Malay or in in the [43:06] Netherlands who's a fan of of Vilders. [43:09] They're not, they have no conflict about [43:11] their country sending billions of [43:13] dollars to Israel. Also, the United [43:16] States has a very prominent, very [43:19] successful Jewish population that well [43:22] over 70% identifies with the progressive [43:25] left. And so, so for most Americans, if [43:29] they know Jews and they know about [43:30] Jewish organizations like the ADL, [43:34] they they view them correctly as part of [43:38] their political enemies domestically who [43:41] are on the other side of the all of the [43:42] cultural wars, these existential [43:46] cultural wars that young conservative [43:48] Americans are so acutely aware of. The [43:50] Jews, the Jews are on the other side of [43:53] those battles. And so there's a number [43:56] of different factors here. There's [43:57] probably other factors I haven't thought [43:58] of. Maybe some of it is just, you know, [44:01] we've seen this over and over again in [44:03] history. when there is uh when there's [44:06] polarization in a society and there's [44:10] economic hardship on young people. [44:13] Look, in the Weimar Republic, most of [44:16] the initial supporters of Hitler were [44:19] young, angry men, [44:22] you know, who were, you know, who, you [44:25] know, who were who felt that the that [44:27] the system [44:29] had, you know, had had given them a raw [44:32] deal. And that's where we see the rise [44:34] in anti-semitism most prominently on the [44:36] American right as well. So these are [44:38] that's why I said at the beginning of [44:40] this conversation anti-semitism is not a [44:41] Jewish issue. It's something that you [44:44] know it is there's there's a resentment [44:46] there and it often gets turned on Jews [44:50] and uh yeah that's my diagnosis [44:53] >> for for me it's it's the Jews as a [44:55] positive line. I think after the Fly [44:56] Dubai plane, there were so many memes of [45:00] you could then pay extra for premium [45:02] seats if you were sitting next to a Jew [45:04] because they would or if a hijack [45:07] happens, look for your nearest Jew and [45:08] they will help. So, how we turn it? But [45:11] um I'm just just your final thought. I'm [45:14] I'm off to a um October the 7th [45:17] celebration demo. Not that I'm [45:19] participating, but I'm going to film it. [45:21] There's been a massive debate in the UK [45:22] over the last four days. Um, can there [45:24] be a Hamas Palestine pro uh October the [45:28] 7 celebration that's happening today? [45:31] Um, and the police say [45:32] >> celebrating the slaughter and rape of [45:34] Jews. I [45:35] >> So, and I'm wondering such a thing it [45:38] shows where we are in the UK. Um, but I [45:42] can't imagine such a an event happening [45:44] in Jerusalem or even in New York under [45:48] the crazy Manny. I don't think they've [45:50] gone that far. Um, I'm just trying to [45:53] understand maybe London is actually [45:56] further on in this position of hatred [45:59] against Jews than maybe any other city [46:01] or any other place [46:04] >> might be. I don't know. The UK, it's [46:06] been it's been very disturbing. Uh, you [46:08] have Ed Miband, your foreign secretary, [46:11] who stands up and says as a Jew, and [46:13] then and then his as a Jew statement is [46:16] demonizing Israel and denying his own [46:18] Jewish heritage in that homeland. uh you [46:21] know and you know he's obvious and and [46:23] yet it didn't satisfy his party. I think [46:25] he did it in advance of their party [46:27] convention and then he shows up at the [46:29] party convention and they want more you [46:31] know they want they want the you know [46:33] Britain to fully devest from Israel and [46:36] uh look [46:37] it the question of how far gone the UK [46:40] is [46:42] is a very scary question to to to think [46:44] about. I'm sure you think about it every [46:46] single day. Um, but it's not only about, [46:49] look, obviously the immigration is a [46:51] problem, but at this point you have [46:53] multiple generations of Muslims who've [46:55] been born in the UK, [46:56] >> uh, who are who are citizens of the UK. [46:59] This is not a problem that's going to go [47:00] away easily. It's also there's the [47:02] self-inflicted problem that I mentioned [47:05] earlier of natives in the UK not forming [47:09] families at a young age and having [47:10] children, [47:12] you know, so you have this this [47:14] collapsed birth rate. Um, I don't know [47:17] what the future for Europe holds. You [47:18] know, I remember last year or it was [47:20] about a year year and a half ago where [47:22] the United Arab Emirates announced that [47:25] they're no longer going to provide [47:27] funding for Amiradi students to go study [47:30] in the UK because they were afraid of [47:32] them getting radicalized [47:34] by Muslim Brotherhood [47:37] on the college campuses in the UK. And [47:40] think of the absurdity of that. So while [47:42] the while the European nations are now [47:44] talking about boycotting Judea and [47:45] Samaria, which is ultimately going to [47:47] lead to full boycotts of Israel, that [47:49] that is that it's just Jude and Samaria [47:51] is just a gateway drug. They're going to [47:53] be boycotting Israel completely. And at [47:56] the same time, what's going on in the [47:57] Middle East is that the Saudis and the [47:59] Amiradis are turning to the Israelis for [48:01] security cooperation and and like [48:04] meaning it's an upside down world where [48:06] in the Middle East the the Muslim [48:08] countries who know who who ban the [48:11] Muslim Brotherhood because they know how [48:12] dangerous they are are increasingly [48:14] working with Israel on security [48:16] arrangements. [48:17] And in Europe, they're they're they're [48:19] having pro- Hamas celebrations of [48:22] October 7th. It's an upside down world. [48:24] You know, the the Muslim conquerors who [48:27] were stopped at the gates of Europe and [48:29] were unable to conquer Europe are [48:31] laughing in their graves at what their [48:33] descendants are now doing to Europe. [48:36] >> Oh, they really are. And I think in in [48:38] the UK it's a race by the left to see [48:40] who can hit Jews most and then turn that [48:43] into votes, especially for the Muslim [48:45] block vote. But um Rabbi Wiki, always [48:48] appreciate you coming on. Thank you for [48:50] giving us your thoughts on that. not [48:51] only in the spiritual side but on the [48:53] the political side um and that rising [48:56] tension that we face in many parts of [48:58] the west but thank you so much for your [48:59] wisdom today. [49:01] >> Thank you Peter. Always a pleasure and [49:03] an honor.
