Three years after October 7, UNRWA is still claiming immunity instead of answering serious allegations concerning its employees and the massacre.
Shurat HaDin has been fighting to change that. We pushed for legislation to strip UNRWA of its immunity and challenged the Attorney General’s position.
Now, following new legislation passed by the Knesset, the court has ordered UNRWA to file a statement of defense. For the families still waiting for justice, that is an important step toward accountability.
