Transcript [00:00] President Trump has said no to any peace [00:02] plan uh with Iran. Why would he do that [00:06] with the price of gas? Have you gotten [00:08] gas this weekend? I did. [00:11] $554. [00:17] Wow. Okay. Well, that's not comfortable. [00:21] Uh had the kids up yesterday for dinner [00:24] up at the house and they were like, [00:26] "Dad, I don't know if we can afford to [00:29] come up to the house on Sundays to have [00:31] dinner with you. Have you filled up your [00:33] tank? And I said, "Yeah, I have." So why [00:36] would he do this? Why would he do this? [00:40] Because he believes that um anytime [00:43] anything that we can do to give them any [00:45] kind of funding, they are they are out. [00:48] They are out. Um Iran is um now saying [00:52] that they will uh they're prepared for [00:55] any war, including one that is a [00:57] doomsday war. [00:59] What does that imply? [01:02] Nuclear weapons. What does that imply? A [01:05] doomsday war. Um, they soon are not [01:09] going to have anything to trade. They [01:11] only have a few days left of oil and [01:14] they are collapsing from the inside. [01:16] Now, we've heard this before, but they [01:18] are desperate to make some sort of a [01:20] deal to keep them alive. Um, Besson [01:23] says, "I'm confident there's only 15 [01:25] million more barrels of Iranian oil in [01:27] the water. Iran will have nothing left [01:29] to trade for anything probably within [01:31] the next two weeks. They're going to [01:33] make their final deliveries of oil to [01:34] China and then they will have nothing [01:36] left. It's an empty set. I believe they [01:39] are feeling the pressure here and that's [01:40] why they wanted a deal. So, we'll [01:43] continue to watch that. I do want to get [01:45] into diesel prices. The president is [01:47] floating the idea uh that we onshore all [01:51] of our our diesel, that we don't sell [01:54] diesel to any other country. that takes [01:56] us off of the global market. That is [01:58] going to cause problems all around the [01:59] rest of the world. I know that we should [02:01] be America first. But it is very [02:04] concerning to me because this is the [02:05] kind of stuff that Jimmy Carter would [02:07] do. Uh and it will only lead to bad [02:10] things. It will cut the cost maybe by a [02:12] dollar for a very short period of time [02:14] and then it will get really bad. Um you [02:18] just don't want to pull yourself out of [02:20] the global market because then all kinds [02:22] of games are starting to be played. [02:24] We'll get into that a little later. [02:26] There's also a story today in the news [02:28] about a farmer in an English countryside [02:30] who was driving home from a party this [02:33] uh last week. She found three vans [02:36] blocking a dark country road. She saw [02:39] the mass men running towards the RAF uh [02:42] Fairford, which is a base the United [02:44] States uh Air Force uses. She didn't [02:46] film it. She didn't post it. She called [02:48] the police and then she grabbed her [02:50] neighbors and she told them, "Lock your [02:51] doors. Something's going on." Less than [02:54] 25 minutes later, five men were arrested [02:56] under suspicion of preparing a terrorist [02:59] attack. Dozens of homes were evacuated. [03:01] Bomb teams went through the van. [03:03] Counterterrorist offer officers were [03:05] looking for possible links to Iran. And [03:08] the president said he had had these men [03:10] under surveillance and they were looking [03:12] to do big damage. Apparently, there were [03:15] explosives in the van. I don't know how [03:17] we could be watching these men for weeks [03:19] and then let them get this close to the [03:21] uh the uh Air Force base, but that's the [03:25] story as of right now. Same week, [03:28] London, police arrested a man over a [03:29] suspected plot against the Jewish [03:31] community center. In fact, several of [03:33] them, Israeli diplomats, pro-Israeli [03:36] rallies in Germany or in Austria also [03:39] were targeted. According to the report, [03:41] he once guarded the chief of Hamas. [03:44] The British gave him asylum. He's lived [03:47] there now for about 10 years. Again, [03:51] Hamas asylum. England. Same week, The [03:55] Telegraph reports that the Palestinians [03:58] uh that uh of the Palestinians the BBC [04:01] has identified [04:03] as journalists, 53 had ties of one kind [04:07] or another to Hamas and other terrorist [04:09] groups. That's an allegation. BBC needs [04:12] to answer it. At the same time, BBC same [04:15] week ran a story asking whether [04:17] unpainted fingernails have become a [04:20] class issue. One beauty journalist, [04:26] I just have to stop on that one. One [04:29] beauty journalist, [04:32] whatever. One beauty journalist [04:34] explained that words like elegant and [04:37] tasteful are often euphemisms for white [04:40] supremacist standards of beauty. [04:52] A man who guarded the head of Hamas [04:56] has refugee status. [04:58] 53 men with ties to terror are [05:00] journalists. [05:03] Five men were arrested trying to blow up [05:05] an Air Force base. And the word tasteful [05:09] is white supremacy. [05:12] I want you to step back here and look at [05:14] the whole picture here because nobody in [05:16] Europe is looking at the whole picture. [05:18] Obviously, [05:19] Europe is not losing an argument. It has [05:22] stopped making an argument. The West is [05:25] under attack. And not because we're [05:27] weak, because we're lazy, uncomfortable, [05:30] we're distracted, we we won't even we [05:33] won't even say we're worth saving. [05:37] Somewhere along the way, we were taught [05:38] and we believe now that we're the bad [05:41] guys. [05:45] How's this happen? [05:48] I'd like to say we've been here before, [05:50] but we've been here before kind of. Not [05:52] really, but kind of. Oxford, England. [05:56] It's February 1933. The Oxford Union, [05:59] the most famous student debating society [06:02] in the world, the room where future [06:04] prime ministers learn to argue. At least [06:07] that's what they say. I don't know what [06:08] they're arguing now. Well, they take up [06:10] a motion in 1933 that this house will [06:13] know in in no uncertain circumstances [06:16] fight for king and country. It passed [06:19] 275 to 153. Now, were the students [06:24] cowards? No, they grew up in a country [06:26] full of empty chairs. Their fathers and [06:29] their uncles went to the trenches and [06:30] didn't come back. And they had been told [06:33] with some reason that the war was was a [06:35] lie old men told young ones. [06:39] And they were right about the horror, [06:41] but they drew the wrong lesson. They [06:43] decided the problem the problem wasn't [06:45] war. The problem was their own country. [06:49] 10 days before that vote, Adolf Hitler [06:52] had been sworn in as chancellor of [06:53] Germany. Winston Churchill called it an [06:56] abject squalid shameless a vowel. [07:00] He wrote later he noticed in Germany, in [07:02] Italy and Japan they had seen it. They [07:05] had all seen it. [07:08] Few weeks after the vote his own son [07:10] went back to Oxford and asked the [07:11] students to strike it from the minute [07:13] book. They voted him down 751 to 138. [07:16] The record stayed. It's still there [07:18] today. Good. It should stay. [07:23] But six years later, the young men of [07:25] that generation were in uniform. [07:28] A lot of them never came home. They did [07:31] fight for king and country after all. [07:33] They just started late. And late is [07:36] unfortunately the most expensive word in [07:38] war. [07:40] >> That sonogram [07:42] changed my life. [07:44] >> A heartbeat is not a blob of tissue. A [07:47] heartbeat is a life. And that's why I [07:49] want to invite you to share heartbeats [07:51] through pre-born. When an unexpected [07:54] mother of an unplanned pregnancy is [07:56] deciding between the future of her baby, [07:58] when she hears the heartbeat on an [08:00] ultrasound, 80% of the time, she'll [08:02] choose life for her baby. Pre-born is [08:05] the nation's largest provider of free [08:07] ultrasounds, introducing moms to [08:09] pre-born babies that'll help them choose [08:11] life. Will you help us? Or you can donate securely at [08:37] pre-born.com/glenn. [08:41] You know, just like in that minute book [08:43] where they said we're not going to [08:44] fight, [08:46] that's the same thing that's happening [08:47] on TikTok now. That's the same thing [08:50] that's happening on YouTube. That's the [08:52] same thing that's happening all over our [08:54] country and the world is looking at it. [08:56] We're not interested. I saw a story from [08:58] Al Jeazer today about what was happening [09:01] in Iran and Alazer said it's a waiting [09:05] game. They think they can outweight the [09:08] United States because the people just [09:10] don't want war. That they will wait [09:13] until you see this poll. I'm going to [09:14] give you a hint. [09:17] In this poll, [09:19] the majority of people would give up [09:24] Israel lock, stock, and barrel. [09:27] Give it up. Give it to the Palestinian [09:30] for a one-state solution for cheaper [09:34] gas. [09:38] The world is hearing us. [09:42] The dictators back then and the [09:44] dictators today don't read this as a [09:46] vote of peace. They read it as [09:48] permission. And that's what happens when [09:51] your enemy watches you debate whether [09:54] you're worth defending. And we are are [09:56] debating right now. And I think I think [09:59] the debate is damn near over. [10:02] No. I think America is saying, "No, [10:04] we're not worth defending." [10:07] And once once we're debating that, they [10:10] stop debating. [10:14] Have we done bad things? Yes, we've did. [10:16] Slavery, conquest, empires that took [10:19] what wasn't theirs. I'm talking about [10:21] the Western culture, [10:23] wars we shouldn't have fought, promises [10:25] we didn't keep. Say it plainly. [10:29] A people that can't name their own sins [10:32] can't be trusted with their own [10:34] strength. So why don't we have a why do [10:36] we have a problem naming our sins? We [10:38] need to name our sins. We have named our [10:40] sins. We've recognized our sins. [10:44] Now, can we do this? What nation doesn't [10:47] have those sins? Is Hamas an angel? [10:51] It built miles of tunnels under its own [10:54] children. It sent men across the fence [10:57] on October 7th to burn families alive, [11:00] to rape babies. [11:03] The Palestinian Authority pays stipens [11:05] to families of men who kill Jews. I [11:08] don't see the BBC asking whether their [11:10] fingernails are problematic. [11:15] Every people on earth have deep [11:17] problems. [11:20] Why Why do we Why do we keep expecting [11:22] ourselves to be perfect? Why do we [11:24] demand that our history is perfect when [11:26] no one else's history is perfect? [11:32] The question is, what do we do with what [11:34] we have? [11:38] What did we do with what we had? Well, [11:40] here's what we did. We're the [11:42] civilization that sent its navies to [11:44] hunt down slave ships. Did you know [11:46] that? We real rebuilt countries that [11:49] just had tried to kill us. We paid for [11:52] it. We flew food into a city for more [11:56] than a year so it wouldn't have to [11:59] surrender. We wiped smallpox off the [12:02] face of the earth. We gave away the [12:04] polio vaccine. We built the countries [12:06] where a man can stand up and say the [12:08] government is wrong and go home at night [12:10] and sleep in his own bed without fear of [12:14] on his door. [12:18] And the proof is where the whole world [12:21] is trying to go. Nobody's risking their [12:24] life to get onto a rubber raft to get [12:26] into Gaza. [12:29] Nobody's waiting 10 years for asylum in [12:31] Tran. They're coming here. They're [12:34] coming to Europe. Even the man who [12:36] guarded the chief of Hamas wanted to [12:38] live in London. Did he want to live [12:40] there for freedom or did he want to live [12:42] there because we're doubting ourselves [12:45] and he was ready to kill us? [12:49] We have done more good for more people [12:51] than most of human history combined. And [12:53] that's not arrogance. That's simple [12:56] nonommon core math. [13:04] But let's not kid ourselves. There's a [13:06] campus not far from you or me that would [13:08] would pass the Oxford motion right now [13:11] and give it a standing ovation. [13:16] Nobody fights for a house he's been told [13:19] he stole. [13:23] You didn't steal this house. But that's [13:25] their whole strategy. You don't have to [13:27] defeat a civilization that's been taught [13:29] to be ashamed of itself. You just have [13:31] to wait for it to open the door. And [13:34] we've opened the door. [13:36] So, we have to be clear about who we [13:38] are, what we did wrong, what we did and [13:41] do right, both out loud. And then we [13:44] have to decide whether this is worth [13:46] standing for, worth defending, worth [13:48] fighting for. And decide it right now, [13:51] not in the middle of the night when [13:52] three vans are on the road. [13:55] That farmer didn't hold a debate. She [13:57] didn't ask whether her village deserved [13:59] protecting, whether the men in the mask [14:01] had a point. I don't know. I Were they [14:04] offended by my fingernails? [14:08] She knew where she lived and who her [14:09] neighbors were, and she picked up the [14:11] phone. [14:14] Europe has a minute book, too. So do we. [14:17] Most of it's on social media, and it's [14:19] being written right now. [14:24] What goes in it this time [14:27] is up to us.
