Transcript [00:04] Welcome back to the channel everybody. [00:07] I'm Steve, your guide. And today we must [00:12] look directly at the flashing red line [00:16] that was just drawn in the sands of the [00:21] Syrian desert. Now, on Monday morning, [00:26] some of us woke up to reports of eight [00:30] precise and devastating air strikes [00:34] targeting the Abu Elder air base in [00:38] northern Syria. And while secular news [00:43] outlets ran their typically shallow [00:47] rapid response headlines focusing [00:50] strictly on broken concrete and modern [00:54] radar gear, they missed the macro crisis [00:59] entirely. [01:01] This was not a routine border skirmish [01:05] against local regional proxies. [01:09] This operation was an intentional [01:12] preemptive strike directed squarely at [01:15] the military assets of a major sovereign [01:20] NATO power led by Turkish President [01:24] Rejip Taip Erdogan. [01:28] Highlevel [01:29] intelligence sources reveal that Israel [01:32] acted on precise data tracking a [01:36] delegation of major Turkish military [01:40] personnel who had quietly arrived at the [01:44] base to deliberate with Syrian [01:47] leadership. While Turkey fiercely issued [01:51] a blanket denial, claiming that no such [01:54] summit occurred, a senior Syrian defense [01:58] official inadvertently shattered the [02:01] cover up by publicly admitting that the [02:04] meeting took place. [02:07] Israel had realized that Turkey was [02:10] actively transitioning this specific [02:13] runway into a permanent forward [02:17] operating base, positioning an [02:20] adversarial [02:22] NATO military footprint directly on [02:26] Israel's northern border. Now, let the [02:30] immense geopolitical [02:33] weight of that reality sink in for a [02:35] moment. [snorts] For his part, Prime [02:38] Minister Benjamin Netanyahu openly [02:42] contextualized [02:43] the gravity of the strike by drawing [02:47] direct strategic parallels to the [02:51] existential military defensive lines of [02:55] World War II. [02:58] Specifically, he was directly invoking [03:01] the dark geopolitical shadow of 1938 [03:07] and what's called the Munich agreement. [03:10] Netanyahu was pointing directly to the [03:14] behavior of Nazi Germany when Adolf [03:17] Hitler systematically pushed his [03:20] military forces into what's called the [03:22] Sudatan land under the false guise of [03:26] regional stability and local [03:29] cooperation. [03:31] Back then, the Western Allied powers [03:35] chose a strategy of appeasement and [03:39] containment, foolishly believing that if [03:42] they gave the aggressive superpower a [03:45] minor border concession, it would [03:48] satisfy the appetite and prevent a wider [03:52] war. [03:53] Israel's leadership thus is explicitly [03:57] warning the global stage that modern [04:02] western attempts to appease Turkeykey's [04:05] military overreach in Syria mirror that [04:08] exact fatal miscalculation of the 1930s. [04:15] By dropping eight precision bombs onto [04:18] that runway on Monday morning, Israel [04:21] declared that they refuse to sit [04:24] passively while a modernday toarma, [04:29] and we'll give a little bit more body to [04:31] that word or define it in just a moment. [04:34] While a modern-day Togarma builds a [04:38] permanent staging ground on Israel's [04:41] northern border. [04:43] Now, if you watched our study last [04:46] Sunday on the historic trilateral Mecca [04:50] pact, you know that Turkey, Saudi [04:53] Arabia, and Pakistan have quietly [04:56] aligned into a massive new defense [05:00] block. And what we witnessed this week [05:04] in Syria is the first physical tactical [05:07] manifestation of that exact alliance [05:11] trying to anchor its boot on Israel's [05:15] northern frontier. [05:17] Yet, the most alarming development did [05:21] not come from the smoke over the sands [05:25] of Syria, but rather from the sudden [05:27] diplomatic fallout inside Washington. In [05:32] what seemed to be an unprecedented [05:35] public fracture, Tom Barack, who's the [05:38] United States ambassador to Turkey and [05:41] special envoy to Syria, openly condemned [05:45] the operation, calling it an unnecessary [05:49] escalation. [05:51] Now, for the serious student of biblical [05:54] scripture, this sudden diplomatic [05:56] isolation is not a surprise. It is a [06:01] structural necessity. It signals a rapid [06:06] approach of a scenario where Israel is [06:10] increasingly forced to stand entirely [06:13] alone against its northern neighbors. [06:17] Now, let's consult the Bible in order to [06:21] trace how this exact flashoint maps to [06:25] the ancient prophetic boundaries of that [06:28] word I mentioned just a few minutes ago, [06:30] Toggarma. [06:31] Now, while analyzing highstake flash [06:35] points like the Abu Al Dah airfield [06:39] strike, we have to be responsible [06:42] students of scripture by drawing a [06:44] strict line between prophetic alignment [06:48] and immediate fulfillment. [06:52] We should back off from the [06:54] sensationalist habit, forcing every [06:58] temporary [06:59] Middle Eastern headline into a [07:02] definitive biblical text as if the final [07:05] countdown has begun. If you turn to [07:09] Ezekiel chapter 38, the text does [07:12] describe a broad long-term geographic [07:17] framework where a northern coalition [07:20] eventually descends upon a reathered [07:24] Israel. Among those ancient regional [07:28] markers, Ezekiel identifies an entity [07:32] known as the house of Togarma, [07:35] located in the uttermost parts of the [07:38] north. Historically, [07:41] classical geographers and biblical [07:44] scholars of all stripes have mapped [07:47] those ancient ancestral boundaries [07:50] straight to the Anatolian Peninsula, [07:53] known today as modern Turkey. My [07:58] objective today is not to claim that [08:01] Monday's precise military strike is the [08:04] literal trigger for Ezekiel's Gog and [08:06] Magog, which if you watched my series [08:11] making sense of the end times, you'll [08:13] know that for me personally, Gog and [08:15] Magog is synonymous with the battle of [08:18] Armageddon. I do not consider them to be [08:22] two separate wars. With that said, a [08:27] sober textriven analysis shows that [08:30] Turkeykey's steady civilizational pivot [08:34] away from its secular western ties and [08:37] toward an aggressive southern military [08:41] footprint is a highly significant [08:44] development. For decades, conventional [08:47] political wisdom assumed that Turkey [08:49] would remain entirely focused on [08:52] integration into the European Union. [08:57] Instead, under its current leadership, [09:00] we are watching an historic Turkish [09:03] realignment with the larger Islamic [09:06] world and its systematic expansion of [09:10] military influence through the natural [09:13] Syrian corridor toward Israel's northern [09:18] frontier. [09:19] When United States Ambassador Tom Barack [09:23] condemned the operation as an [09:25] unnecessary escalation, he was [09:28] attempting to preserve via the [09:30] sophisticated language at all called [09:32] diplomates [09:35] the status quo ante. Yet, as you and I [09:40] know, secular diplomacy remains entirely [09:45] blind to the long-term historical [09:48] currents that continue to pull these [09:51] regional actors into their long ago [09:54] predetermined [09:56] scriptural roles. As soberminded [10:01] students of the Bible, we do not need to [10:03] hype the headlines or engage in frantic [10:08] speculation. We simply look at the map, [10:12] read the texts, and observe the [10:14] sovereign hand of history quietly [10:18] setting the stage. As we pull back our [10:22] focus from the shifting sands of the [10:25] Syrian desert, the ultimate anchor for [10:29] the believer must never be political [10:32] anxiety or fear. The true value of [10:37] tracking these macro geopolitical [10:39] alignments is that they provide a [10:42] stunning window into the absolute [10:46] reliability of God's word. We are [10:50] watching modern leaders make tactical [10:53] decisions based on contemporary defense [10:56] doctrines [10:58] entirely unaware that they are operating [11:01] within a longestablished [11:04] scriptural blueprint. Accordingly, [11:08] Israel acts out of necessity for [11:10] survival. Turkey acts out of ambition [11:14] for regional dominance. and Washington [11:17] acts out of a desire for strategic [11:20] containment. Yet [11:24] above the frantic maneuvers of secular [11:27] state departments, the sovereign god of [11:30] history remains entirely unbothered, [11:35] quietly arranging the stage exactly as [11:38] he declared millennia ago. The tension [11:43] rising on Israel's northern frontier is [11:46] a solemn reminder that human history is [11:50] not a chaotic series of random accidents [11:54] but a deliberate march towards a fixed [11:58] destination. [12:00] Our response to these unfolding events [12:03] must never be sensationalism, [12:07] panic, or speculative hype. Instead, our [12:13] posture should be one of deep biblical [12:16] stability, mature discernment, and [12:21] unshakable confidence in the character [12:24] of God. When you see the lines of [12:27] history beginning to match the lines of [12:29] prophecy, it is an explicit invitation [12:33] to anchor your trust deeper into the one [12:37] who declares the end from the beginning. [12:41] The same God who perfectly manages the [12:44] complex movements of sovereign [12:46] superpowers [12:48] is the exact same God who holds your [12:51] personal reality securely in his hands. [12:56] Therefore, we can look back at the [12:59] headlines with absolute peace because we [13:02] know the author of the script and we [13:05] know exactly how the final chapter [13:09] concludes. [13:11] History is completely on schedule and [13:15] Yahweh the King of glory remains firmly [13:19] on his throne.
