The Jewish story has never been defined by victimhood. It is a story of courage, resilience, and heroism.
At the October 7 memorial event hosted by the Embassy of Israel to the United States in Washington, D.C., we remember the lives stolen, the families forever changed, the hostages, the survivors, the soldiers, and the heroes.
October 7 fell on Simchat Torah—a day of Jewish joy, life, and continuity. Our enemies tried to turn that joy into terror.
But they do not get to write the Jewish story.
We remember. We rebuild. We choose love. We choose life.
Again and again.
