We remember the soldiers who fell defending Israel that day and in the war that followed. We honor everyone still carrying the physical and psychological wounds of that day.
This week, NBN and the @zionist_education_initiaitve took two groups of seniors and young professionals to the Otef Aza to pay tribute to the victims, hear testimony from survivors, and honor the heroes of October 7.
The tour started at Givat Kobi, a lookout in Sderot giving geographical and historical context to the day, followed by a film screening at the Sderot Police Station, hearing the story of a Nova Festival survivor at the site itself in Re'im, and visiting the Burnt Vehicles Compound in Tekuma.
