Transcript [00:00] Hey everyone. Today is October 7th. [00:03] Three years. [00:05] Three years here in Israel. It's a it's [00:07] a day of morning. It's really been a [00:08] whole week. Uh there have been [00:10] ceremonies all week, a lot of memorial [00:14] discussions, a lot of memories, families [00:16] visiting graves, candles being lit, [00:20] names being read out. And around the [00:23] world, a whole lot of people decided [00:25] that this was a perfect day to throw a [00:28] party. And that's what this video is [00:30] about. How it's how this anniversary is [00:33] being commemorated by the other side. [00:37] Okay, so let's take a look at what's [00:38] happening in Europe. Let's get right to [00:41] it. Times of Israel. Take a look at this [00:43] headline. [00:46] Hundreds of anti-Israel protests planned [00:48] worldwide around October 7th anniversary [00:51] as Israeli and Jewish communities around [00:52] the world mark the third anniversary of [00:55] October 7th, 2023 [00:57] of the of that kamasled invasion and [01:00] massacre in southern Israel. 262 [01:04] pro Palestinian anti-Israel protests and [01:07] events have been identified in 37 [01:10] countries. The Diaspora Affairs and [01:12] Combating Anti-semitism Ministry said [01:14] the events are planned through October [01:16] 14th with 121 of them scheduled for [01:20] October 10th and 11th. The ministry said [01:26] 262 events folks, 37 countries, [01:31] 75 of them on October 7th itself. [01:36] That's today [01:38] because you know when you want to show [01:40] solidarity with Gaza, obviously the most [01:42] appropriate date is the anniversary of [01:44] the day Kamas murdered 1,200 people in [01:46] their homes. Nothing says I just care [01:48] about human rights like scheduling your [01:51] rally for the massacre's birthday. [01:54] Let's take a little world tour, shall [01:56] we? Let's start in the UK. [02:01] So, in the UK, in London, there's a [02:05] student march today from King's College [02:07] to UCL. And the Metropolitan Police, who [02:09] are not exactly known for being overly [02:12] sensitive to Jewish feelings, publicly [02:14] asked the students to change the date [02:18] because it would distress the Jewish [02:20] students. This is one of the darkest [02:21] days in Jewish history. The students [02:24] answer apparently was no. [02:28] And you know, look, [02:30] uh, England has been a fun place, right? [02:34] Let's remember how this started in [02:36] London. Three years ago, a Freedom of [02:38] Information request later showed that an [02:41] organizer from the Palestine Solidarity [02:43] Campaign was on the phone with police [02:45] planning their first march. [02:48] While the October 7th massacre was still [02:51] going on, people were still hiding in [02:53] safe rooms in Beaye. Israel hadn't [02:55] started retaliating yet [02:58] and there was already what were they [02:59] protesting then? They were there was [03:01] already he was already planning the [03:03] first pro kamas demonstration. [03:09] You see that? [03:12] Now let's go to Germany. What's going on [03:14] in Germany? Have a look. [03:17] Germany, Berlin, Frankfurt, Hanover, [03:19] Cologne, Dwisburg. In Berlin, there's a [03:23] demo near Schlles to under the banner [03:27] down with colonialism. The slogan until [03:30] total liberation. Total liberation. And [03:32] the image they chose for the poster, an [03:35] excavator breaking through the Gaza [03:37] border fence. [03:39] Think about that. Yeah. Let me find that [03:42] for you. [03:45] Oh, it's not in this p. It's not in this [03:47] uh it's not in this one. Where is it? [03:51] It's crazy. They they used a picture I [03:54] should have had this this photo for you, [03:55] but they used a picture of one of those [03:57] bulldozers that broke through the Gaza [03:58] fence. Take a look. I'm going to read [04:00] this. In Hanover, the group inifat [04:02] Hanover has announced a Palestine march [04:04] due to begin at the city's main railway [04:06] station at 5:00 p.m. Promotional M [04:09] material includes the slogan three years [04:11] of genocide alongside the phrase [04:14] resistance until victory. [04:17] three years of genocide. [04:20] They literally were trying to kill every [04:22] man, woman, and child in the Jewish [04:24] people in Israel on October 7th. Anyway, [04:26] according to Judisha Algamina, the [04:28] latter can be understood as an [04:30] expression of support for Palestinian [04:31] terrorism. The same banner features [04:33] images of Palestinian children affected [04:35] by the war alongside an outline [04:37] encompassing Israel, all of Israel, [04:40] Gaza, and the West Bank. Critics argue [04:42] that this imagery represents a call for [04:44] the elimination of Israel because it [04:46] does and is consistent with Kamas's [04:48] stated objectives. That is their [04:50] objective, eliminate Israel. Organizers [04:52] of demonstrations in Dwisber and Cologne [04:54] are using the slogan, it did not begin [04:56] on October 7th. [04:58] Honestly concerned described the slogan [05:00] and similar calls as an unbearable [05:02] distortion, arguing that the victims of [05:04] the 7th of October attacks should not be [05:06] written out of the history of the [05:08] conflict. [05:10] Well, well, well. [05:13] And they used an image of a bulldozer. [05:17] The bulldozer that opened the way for [05:19] the murderers. That's the logo. That's [05:20] the brand. [05:23] That's what they're celebrating in [05:25] Hanover, [05:27] right? What did I just read? Inifat [05:30] Hanover is marching under resistance [05:32] until victory with a map that has all of [05:35] Israel on it. One piece. Next, the next [05:38] time someone tells you that this is [05:39] about the 1967 borders, hello. They want [05:43] to erase all of Israel. They want they [05:45] view all of Israel as a colonial project [05:47] that must be erased. That is what they [05:50] say, [05:54] right? It did not begin on October 7th, [05:56] right? That's what they said in Dwisburg [05:57] there. You know what? I agree with them. [05:59] It didn't begin on October 7th. So, [06:02] let's go back. [06:04] Let's go back a little bit further than [06:06] uh than they'd like us to. Actually, [06:09] let's talk about when it began. [06:12] Where do you want to begin the story? [06:14] I've said this many times. The shorter [06:16] your view of history, the more [06:17] anti-Israel you become. [06:20] Because if your history starts in 1967, [06:24] you've got one opinion. [06:26] If it starts on October 8th, right? When [06:30] when does history start for you? If your [06:32] history starts in 1948, you'll probably [06:33] be a little bit more pro-Israel than if [06:35] it started in 1967. But the further back [06:37] you go, the more pro-Israel you get [06:39] every time. [06:42] Let's go back. Let's go way back. It [06:44] didn't start on October 7th. 3,000 years [06:46] ago, King David makes Jerusalem the [06:48] capital of the Jewish kingdom. [06:50] A thousand years later, Jesus, [06:54] speaking to my Christian friends now, [06:57] Jesus, a Jew from the Galilee, [06:59] is in the Temple Mount doing whatever [07:02] he's doing there, overturning the [07:04] tables, also worshiping, right? There's [07:07] a Jewish temple standing in the Jewish [07:09] capital. And in the second century, when [07:12] the Romans crushed the last Jewish [07:14] revolt, to rub it in, they renamed the [07:18] place Judea Palestina. after the [07:20] Philistines, a people who, by the way, [07:22] by that point had already been extinct [07:24] for centuries. It was a branding [07:26] exercise to erase Jews from the map. You [07:30] get it? The Romans invented the term [07:32] Palestine to erase Jewish identity from [07:35] the land of Israel. And you know what? [07:36] 2,000 years later, that's the exact same [07:38] thing that they're doing now on Ivy [07:39] League campuses, [07:41] using the term Palestine as a proxy for [07:44] just erase Jewish identity. [07:49] Right? In the seventh century, the Arabs [07:51] come up out of Arabia. You know, let me [07:55] pause for a second. There is this idea [07:59] that is a prevailing idea among people [08:02] in the West who when they look over at [08:04] the Middle East that they think that [08:06] Middle Eastern people are dark-skinned [08:09] and look like Arabs or are Arabs. [08:14] And they look at someone who looks like [08:15] me and says, "Oh, you're European. [08:17] They're not from the Middle East. [08:20] Have you ever seen Greek people and [08:21] Italian people? Hello. This is the [08:23] Eastern Mediterranean. [08:25] Criats. [08:30] There was a Muslim conquest [08:33] in the 7th century. the Arabs come up [08:36] from Arabia, slaughter the eastern [08:39] Mediterranean peoples who lived in the [08:42] land of Israel, in Lebanon, in Syria, in [08:44] Iraq, in in all of these lands, [08:46] slaughtered them, took over their [08:47] countries. And that's why there's Arabs [08:49] in these countries in Egypt. [08:52] That's why there's Arabs there. They [08:55] came from Arabia. That is colonialism. [08:58] That's the original colonial event in [09:00] this part of the world. They came up and [09:02] slaughtered the the actual people who [09:05] were from there and took their land. [09:11] Right? The word Palestine does not [09:13] appear in the Quran. It came back into [09:16] use with European Christians and [09:17] crusaders. It described this a region [09:20] where the Bible took place, [09:22] not a people. There was never a people [09:24] who like there's a lot of words that [09:27] names that describe just a geographical [09:28] region but there's no but but it doesn't [09:30] don't describe a people [09:36] right there was 400 years of Ottoman [09:39] Muslim rule and they never talked about [09:41] a place called Palestine. There was no [09:43] borders of such a place, no capital of [09:45] such a place, no flag of such a place. [09:48] Here's my favorite test. Anyone who says [09:51] that the Palestinians are a nation [09:54] from this land, ask them to name one [09:57] leader of the Palestinian people. [09:58] Doesn't have to be a head of state. You [09:59] can say that they were under they were [10:01] under a a national they were under an [10:03] empire, the Ottomans. Name me a [10:05] Palestinian leader, a leader of that [10:07] people. It could be a religious leader. [10:09] It could be a king. It could be an amir, [10:10] a sheh. I don't care. Name me a [10:13] prominent Palestinian leader from before [10:15] the 20 from before the middle of the [10:16] 20th century. [10:19] one out of history. If they have a [10:21] history, they've got to have [10:21] personalities in that history. [10:25] Don't wait around for an answer because [10:27] you're not going to get one. There's no [10:29] such thing. Meanwhile, the Jews were [10:31] writing books in every single generation [10:33] of all those centuries. It's an unbroken [10:35] chain of tradition going all the way [10:36] back to temple times. We know exactly [10:38] who we are. We know exactly where we [10:40] came from. We've been saying next year [10:41] in Jerusalem for 2,000 years. And [10:44] somehow we're the colonizers, right? [10:46] were the only colonizers in history [10:47] whose holy books, prayer, you know, [10:51] prayers and our and archaeology [10:54] and ancient coins [10:57] are all are all about the place that we [10:59] supposedly colonized [11:01] here. Hold on a sec. Let me [11:06] check out this coin. Okay, this is this [11:09] is the Judea Capta coin. The Romans [11:12] minted coins celebrating the defeat of [11:15] Judea. Judea capta Judea was captured. [11:20] We have these coins. [11:24] The Palestinian cause, the official [11:26] Palestinian line. What they teach in [11:28] Palestinian authorities school books is [11:30] that there was never a Judea. There was [11:32] never a Jewish people in the land. [11:34] That's why they changed the name. That's [11:35] why when the Jordanians took Judea and [11:37] Samaria, they made up a new name, West [11:39] Bank, so that people wouldn't use the [11:41] word Judea anymore. It was it just what [11:42] the Romans did. You take away the Jewish [11:44] name of a place. [11:46] Judea captured. [11:51] Were the Arab peoples ever captured by [11:53] Rome in this land? [11:58] They're not from here. That's the [12:00] colonizers. [12:02] That's the imperialism is the the Muslim [12:05] invasion of the seventh century [12:08] expelling and murdering the local Jews [12:11] and Christians from this whole region. [12:15] The Romans knew whose land this was. It [12:18] was it belonged to the Jews. That's why [12:19] that's what Judea a person from Judea is [12:21] a Jew. A yud yudi a Judean. [12:27] It got shortened to Jew in Europe but [12:29] that's what the word is. were from [12:31] Judea. The Romans knew whose land it [12:33] was. They conquered it. The people in [12:35] Berlin with the bulldozer posters don't [12:37] know basic history, [12:41] right? So, the colonizer, [12:45] like who's the colonizer here? That's my [12:48] point. [12:49] But I digress. [12:52] You see, they're not making an argument [12:55] of of of of colonizer that's historical. [12:59] What do they actually want? We'll talk [13:01] about what they want in a second. Before [13:02] we get to that, let me just tell you [13:04] about uh some u a really cool thing that [13:07] took place the other day. Uh Israel 365 [13:11] news. We we put on a a Knesset elections [13:14] town hall in Jerusalem. This is a photo [13:16] from the event. And we had we had [13:18] representatives from the Knesset party [13:20] lists of 10 parties that are running. [13:23] people who are on the Knesset list [13:24] including um uh you know a number of [13:28] sitting members of Knesset, the minister [13:30] in the government, prominent people [13:32] here. Um we had so we had [13:34] representatives who are all on the [13:36] Knesset lists representing 10 parties. [13:38] They each uh made their case, answered [13:41] tough questions. We and it was a full [13:44] house event in Jerusalem at the Manakim [13:46] Bean Heritage Center this past Sunday. [13:49] amazing event, two hours long. And uh if [13:52] you want to watch the event, we recorded [13:54] it and you could um and and we'll send [13:58] you a uh an email with a link to watch [14:01] the full event on replay at the link in [14:04] the description of this video. Or you [14:05] could go to israel365.com/occtober [14:10] 4th, meaning October 4th. [14:14] October the number fourth as one word. [14:16] Israel365.com/occtocc4th. [14:19] Just send uh [14:21] just go there and you can sign up and [14:24] we'll send you we'll send you a link. [14:26] You could watch the whole town hall. It [14:28] was a great event. It was really it was [14:29] really uh it was wonderful. It was you [14:31] know open dialogue. It was very it was [14:34] very cordial but also there were some [14:36] exciting and interesting moments. So you [14:38] don't want to miss that. Okay, [14:40] back to our subject. Right. So what do [14:43] these people actually want? They're not [14:45] interested in the truth of history. [14:47] They don't know who's actually [14:49] indigenous to the land and who's the [14:51] invader. But let me show you something [14:52] here. This is from the University of [14:56] Boulder, University of Boulder, [14:58] Colorado. [14:59] Let me pull this up on screen. Check [15:01] this out. [15:03] Okay, this is the university the [15:05] students for justice of Palestine [15:07] chapter at the University of Colorado [15:10] Boulder put out this statement for today [15:13] in honor of October 7th. Check out what [15:15] it says. [15:18] This year on the third on the third [15:21] anniversary of the escalation of the [15:22] genocide in Palestine, we called [15:24] together our community. So they're [15:25] saying that October 7th, the day that [15:27] they slaughtered Israelis, is the day of [15:30] the escal is the anniversary of the [15:33] escalation of the genocide in Palestine. [15:36] We call together our community to take [15:37] part in sharing stories in grief. But [15:39] this day is the third anniversary of [15:42] Operation Al Axa flood, one of the first [15:45] days in the long downfall of global [15:49] imperialism. [15:54] global imperialism, [15:57] not Israel. Global October 7th wasn't [15:59] about a border fence in Gaza. You [16:01] understand? As far as these people are [16:02] concerned, it was the first shot in the [16:04] takedown of the entire Western [16:06] civilization. That's that's what they're [16:08] saying. I always say, listen to your [16:10] enemies. They're usually very honest [16:14] about what they want. [16:17] You know, they they don't hide it. [16:20] Here, check this out. Look at this [16:22] headline. Anti-Zionist [16:26] groups announced resistance rally [16:27] outside New York City's city hall on [16:30] October 7th and they criticized Mamani. [16:34] You get this? The flyer says, "Glory to [16:36] the martyrs, victory to the resistance," [16:38] complete with the inverted red triangle. [16:41] You know, the one Hamas uses to mark [16:42] targets in its videos. And here's the [16:45] best part. They're accusing Mayor Zoran [16:47] Mamani of betraying the Palestinian [16:49] cause. Zoran Mani, he's not pure enough [16:51] for them. I mean, at some point you have [16:52] to admire their commitment. [16:55] No one's ever radical enough for these [16:56] people because uh look, it's not about [16:59] any specific policy for them. It's about [17:01] destroying Western civilization. Uh [17:03] here, check this out. This is the this [17:05] is the this is the IRGC's statement on [17:08] this. This is from the Palestine [17:10] Chronicle. Al ax flood shattered [17:12] invincible Israeli army myth. IRGC on [17:15] third anniversary. How's that working [17:16] out for you IRGC? [17:20] the Iranian revolutionary guards, right? [17:22] They marked the anniversary by calling [17:24] October 7th the turning point that [17:26] sealed Israel's fate and promising to [17:29] keep going until Israel's complete [17:31] destruction. [17:33] Praised the attack and said it's that [17:35] one of its great achievements was [17:37] derailing normalization in the region. [17:39] You see that the goal they saying one of [17:41] the great achievements of October 7th [17:43] was preventing Arabs from making peace [17:45] with Jews. They're very proud of that. [17:48] And over in Pakistan, meanwhile, [17:52] look at this. [17:54] Jamat al-Islami. [17:57] Jamat al-Islami. They held a Gaza march [17:59] in Karachi and announced a solidarity [18:02] week. And I'm quoting from the framing [18:03] here with Gaza and Hamas. [18:08] They're very open about it. Solidarity [18:09] with Hamas. So, let's put all the pieces [18:12] together. What are we seeing in all of [18:14] this? [18:18] In Thran, in Beirut, in Karach, the the [18:21] the [18:23] Muslims are celebrating October 7th as a [18:25] victory against the Jews and against the [18:26] West. And in Berlin and in New York and [18:30] in Boulder, Colorado, the progressive [18:31] left is celebrating October 7th as a [18:34] victory against colonialism and against [18:36] imperialism. [snorts] [18:40] I don't even know if they know what the [18:41] words mean. [18:44] celebrations all over the world. [18:49] This is the Red Green Alliance. Remember [18:51] what happened right after October 7th? I [18:53] talk about it all the time. Christian [18:56] Christians were having their annual [18:58] Christmas tree lighting ceremony at [19:00] Rockefeller Plaza and it was disrupted [19:03] by pro- kamas demonstrators chanting [19:05] Christmas is canled until Palestine is [19:07] free. Right. Easter mass and St. [19:09] Patrick's Cathedral in New York City was [19:12] interrupted by pro- kamas demonstrators. [19:15] Think about it. Why would people angry [19:17] at a Jewish state go after Christmas and [19:20] Easter? Because it was never about the [19:21] Jewish state. Melanie Phillips put it [19:24] perfectly, right? She said, [19:26] "Palestinianism is the Trojan horse for [19:29] anti-semitism and anti-semitism is the [19:32] Trojan horse for the assault on Western [19:34] civilization." Right? The Jews are just [19:36] first in line. We always are. [19:39] The West was built on the Bible, our [19:41] Bible. Freedom, the dignity of every [19:43] human being created in God's image, [19:47] right? The idea that good and evil are [19:49] real things and we are partners in w [19:51] with God in the victory of good over [19:53] evil. [19:57] Israel is the most obvious, most [19:59] concentrated expression of that. That's [20:02] what October 7th was really about. Do [20:04] you see good and evil as good and evil [20:06] or are you all about some Marxist [20:10] grievance politics? [20:12] And the people marching in London and [20:14] Berlin today, they're mostly living in [20:16] the freest, richest, safest societies [20:19] human beings ever built. And they're [20:21] marching to celebrate people who want to [20:23] burn those societies to the ground. And [20:26] they think they're on the side of the [20:27] oppressed. [20:31] Now, let's give credit where it's due [20:34] because, [20:35] you know, there someone is is is calling [20:39] this stuff out. Maybe it's not enough, [20:43] but it is happening. Right. Right here. [20:47] Australian leaders condemn pro Palestine [20:49] vigils planned for 7th of October [20:50] anniversary amid Jewish commemorations. [20:56] The premier of New South Wales in [20:58] Australia called the timing of these [21:00] vigils obscene and told his own party's [21:03] MPs to stay away. The the Met police in [21:05] London begged the students to change the [21:07] date. I I showed you that at the [21:09] beginning. Paris banned an October 7th [21:11] protest. Berlin is holding a memorial [21:14] for the victims with the interior [21:15] minister. Okay, that's something. [21:22] But that's but it that's a drop in the [21:25] bucket compared to the other side. [21:29] So yes, to the folks in Dwisburg, you're [21:31] right. It didn't begin on October 7th. [21:34] It began thousands of years ago [21:39] when the Jewish people [21:42] got their land and their book and their [21:44] covenant. And it's been going on ever [21:47] since with a long list of empires that [21:49] tried to erase us. The Romans renamed [21:52] the land, tried to erase our identity. [21:55] The Arabs conquered the land, [21:58] tried to erase, once again erase the [22:01] identity of Jews and Christians, the [22:02] whole biblical heritage of the land. The [22:04] Arabs tried to do that. The Ottomans [22:08] ruled over the land, mostly neglecting [22:09] it. [22:11] And now the kids in London at UCL [22:15] want to decolonize it from the Jews. [22:17] Right. Well, we're still here. The [22:19] Romans are gone. [22:22] Judea capta back then and today I'm [22:26] Israel Khai, right? The Jewish people [22:27] are alive. And to my Christian friends [22:30] watching, [22:31] you got to remember this is not about [22:33] the Jews. They came for Christmas, too, [22:36] in the name of October 7th. And they'll [22:38] keep coming for you. Our enemies already [22:41] know we're fighting the same battle. [22:43] They say it openly. That's why they [22:45] attack Christmas and Easter. [22:48] The question is, do we know that we're [22:50] fighting the same battle, that we're on [22:52] the same team? [22:55] That's the question. [22:58] So, that's what I wanted to share with [23:00] you today on this day, October 7th, [23:03] especially this day. Remember what [23:05] happened that day. Do not forget. [23:09] And uh, you know, remember the, you [23:10] know, what what everyone went through, [23:12] what we've been through these last few [23:13] years. [23:14] remember the soldiers who've been [23:16] fighting this righteous fight. [23:18] And thank you for watching. [23:21] God bless. Please make sure you're [23:22] subscribed and please share this with [23:23] someone who needs to hear it. Thank you.
