I know rain [09:02] is a blessing and it's a blessing to any [09:05] of us wherever we live in the world, but [09:08] particularly for us here in Israel [09:11] because of our long, hot, dry, brutal [09:14] summers. Uh the former rains are [09:17] especially special to us as a people um [09:21] because it's so connected with God and [09:23] the land and many other things, but and [09:27] because we need it. And often we don't [09:30] get it because of our sin. Anyway, it [09:33] speaks the reigns here speak very loudly [09:36] and clearly [09:38] um as to God and his faithfulness. It's [09:41] closely connected with his covenant to [09:44] us as a people in a nation and closely [09:47] connected uh with his faithfulness. [09:51] I thought about this this morning. It's [09:53] like a live love letter from God. I [09:57] haven't forgotten you. I remember you. [10:00] So, I'm sending you the rains because I [10:02] can see that you need it. Every drop [10:06] echoes his faithfulness. And the rains [10:09] bring a smile to our faces and joy in [10:12] our hearts for God's goodness, absolute [10:15] goodness to us. But the interesting [52:44] thing was those golden bowls, it tells [52:46] us in Revelation, are full of the [52:49] prayers of God's saints. But it was like [52:51] they had musical notes in them. So our [52:54] praises and our prayers mingle together [52:57] and it activates something beyond us. [53:01] Something God is pouring out on earth. [53:03] So Lord, we enthrone you today. Right now there are [85:46] approximately 24 battalions [85:49] of soldiers serving in the Judea Samaria [85:52] area. [85:54] Normally at a normal quiet peaceful time [85:57] there's 11 battalions. [85:59] Each battalion has approximately 500 at [86:01] least soldiers in it. [86:05] There are 541,85 [86:11] Israelis that live in Judea Samaria. [86:15] There are approximately 2.8 million [86:17] Arabs in that same area. [86:21] There are 300 to 400 rural villages of [86:25] Arab population, Hebrron, Ramala, [86:27] Janine, and there's approximately 147 [86:32] Jewish cities or settlements with some [86:35] unauthorized outposts as well. [86:39] 60% of that area is under Israeli rule. [86:42] 40% is under the Palestinian Authority. [86:46] And I share all of these statistics [86:48] because you might not know it, but [86:51] Judea, Samaria, that whole area is in [86:54] the news constantly. [86:57] There is a constant amount of battles [87:00] going on there, a constant amount of [87:02] terrorist attacks. And it's not just the [87:05] Arabs against the Jews. [87:08] We have a lot of religious fanaticals [87:11] of Jewish religion that live in that [87:13] area and they are also against our [87:16] armies and against our soldiers. [87:20] Yesterday um the Israeli police and the [87:24] border police wanted to bring back an [87:26] Arab family back to their to their [87:29] village. They had to leave in a hurry [87:32] because of the settlers that came [87:33] against them. And as the Israeli army, [87:38] the border police, all of those hundreds [87:41] of soldiers went to bring this family [87:44] back in, these settlers set up a [87:47] roadblock and an ambush. [87:50] And threw things at our soldiers. They [87:53] set up tires to burn in the middle of [87:55] the road. Uh through threw things at the [87:58] the cars and the police cars. [88:01] So I want to bring this situation. And [88:04] it is a burning situation in many ways [88:06] burning. And I want to bring this [88:08] situation before God's throne because [88:11] there's so much happening. It's hard to [88:12] keep up with. And we have so many [88:15] soldiers in that area. And Father, you [88:18] know them all by name. You know every [88:20] soldier by name. You know exactly where [88:22] they're at. You know what their job duty [88:24] is. You know when they're asleep, when [88:26] they're awake. Father, you know when [88:28] they're tired. Father, we ask Lord that [88:30] you would come specifically today and [88:33] bring your shalom to Judea Samaria area. [88:38] Father, hundreds, thousands of Israelis, [88:42] millions of Palestinians, the Arabs, [88:44] Lord, that live in that area. Father, I [88:46] ask Lord that you would come. You would [88:49] watch over the passageways. you would [88:51] watch over uh the corners and you would [88:54] watch over in between the olive groves [88:56] and other places where our soldiers need [88:58] to go in and out of. Father, I ask that [89:01] you would come and you would guard over [89:02] them. You would guard over their tires. [89:04] You would guard over their engines. You [89:06] would guard over their their front u [89:08] shield on their on their jeeps, Lord. [89:11] Father, against any any attack of the [89:13] enemy, Father. anyone that would stand [89:16] against the Israeli army. Father, you've [89:19] called this land and these people back [89:21] to this land for a purpose. And Father, [89:24] it's not just to keep us safe so that we [89:26] can sleep at night, but it's to pour [89:28] your spirit out upon them. Father, your [89:31] plan and your purpose for Judea, Samaria [89:34] is the same as the rest for the rest of [89:36] of Israel, Father. [89:38] Father, we ask Lord that as our soldiers [89:42] work day and night in very difficult [89:44] situations. [89:46] We ask that you would give them wisdom [89:47] as well. They're so young, sometimes [89:50] inexperienced. [89:53] Accidents happen and things go wrong. [89:56] Father, we ask that you would watch over [89:58] and protect. We put that over our [90:44] borders and over our crossings and our [90:46] passageways and in between the dirt [90:49] bumps and the logs and whatnot.
