Shalom my friends from here in Israel. I
[00:03]
am so moved right now. I'm getting
[00:06]
updated of what's happening on the
[00:08]
ground across the world with the
[00:10]
fellowship's flags of fellowship uh
[00:12]
program. And this could only be because
[00:16]
of God. Only God could do what has been
[00:18]
happening the past two days. The
[00:20]
fellowship of course started Flags of
[00:22]
Fellowship um after October 7th as a way
[00:25]
for Christians and churches to show
[00:27]
solidarity every year on October 7th
[00:29]
with Israel with the Jewish people not
[00:31]
as a political statement but as a
[00:33]
spiritual statement as a statement. It
[00:36]
was mostly in America at that time.
[00:38]
America and Israel stand together
[00:39]
against hatred. Jews and Christians
[00:42]
stand together. It was a really a vision
[00:46]
of solidarity, of love between America
[00:48]
and Israel and Christians and Jews. And
[00:51]
in the past three years since the
[00:52]
October 7th attacks, the program has
[00:55]
grown grassroots in a way we could have
[00:58]
never expected. That could only be of
[00:59]
God. This year we had over 4,300
[01:05]
churches and synagogues have joined and
[01:09]
universities and colleges around the
[01:11]
world in 13 countries. I'm going to read
[01:14]
you all the countries that did this.
[01:16]
Each one of those 4,300
[01:20]
churches put 1,200 Israeli flags proudly
[01:25]
on their lawn in order to show we aren't
[01:28]
scared. We stand with God. We stand Jews
[01:32]
and Christians together in love. We
[01:35]
stand our country and Israel. Again, not
[01:39]
as a political statement, as a spiritual
[01:41]
statement. Pray for the peace of
[01:43]
Jerusalem. That is what the scriptures
[01:46]
tell us and that is what's happening
[01:47]
here. And so, the fellowship started um
[01:50]
just trying to get churches in North
[01:52]
America to join us. And on this third
[01:54]
year, let me read you some of the
[01:56]
countries that uh had churches who
[01:59]
participated in flags of fellowship.
[02:01]
Okay, we had of course America, UK, the
[02:05]
United Arab Emirates, UAE. We had
[02:09]
Australia, churches in Australia who put
[02:12]
these uh Israeli flags in their yard.
[02:15]
Brazil, Canada, India, Kenya, South
[02:20]
Africa, Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia,
[02:25]
Israel. Those are just a few of the
[02:28]
countries where churches have come to
[02:30]
us. We didn't even reach out to them and
[02:32]
said, "We want to be part of this. We
[02:33]
want to show our solidarity with Israel
[02:35]
and the Jewish people." And that means
[02:37]
that there were over 5 million Israeli
[02:41]
flags waving on church grounds showing
[02:44]
solidarity this week with Israel, the
[02:47]
Jewish people, as we reflect on October
[02:50]
7th and mourn those lives that were lost
[02:53]
and the worst attacks on the Jewish
[02:55]
people since the Holocaust. And so a lot
[02:58]
of people say Israel is alone. A lot of
[03:00]
people say nobody likes the Jewish
[03:03]
people. A lot of people say that there's
[03:05]
a spiritual war raging, and that's
[03:07]
definitely true. But a spiritual war
[03:09]
raging is nothing new. We've seen
[03:12]
throughout history, modern history,
[03:14]
communism, Nazism, that was a spiritual
[03:16]
war. And we see today, Islamism, of
[03:19]
course, that's a spiritual war that's
[03:20]
raging. But what's unique today than in
[03:24]
the past, you could look at wicked
[03:27]
Amalik in the scriptures, that was a
[03:29]
spiritual war. What's different today
[03:32]
than in the past is one thing. Well, two
[03:34]
things. Number one, that we have Israel,
[03:37]
a safe place for the Jewish people. So,
[03:39]
we're not seeing pgromes around the
[03:41]
world and guest chambers being set up
[03:43]
with nowhere for the Jewish people to
[03:45]
go. We have Israel. Praise God. God's
[03:47]
promise coming to fruition. And number
[03:49]
two, we have millions of Christian
[03:52]
friends who are saying, "We've studied
[03:54]
history and we will not make the same
[03:56]
mistake. We know what spiritual warfare
[04:00]
looks like and we will not take part in
[04:03]
it. And that's what this represents.
[04:05]
Over 5 million Israeli flags being
[04:08]
planted on church grounds represented
[04:10]
Christians saying we stand with Israel
[04:12]
and the Jewish people. We will never
[04:14]
again turn our backs on them. We know
[04:17]
what the Bible says. We will pray for
[04:18]
the peace of Jerusalem. We will be the
[04:21]
watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem.
[04:25]
me comfort, comfort my people. That's
[04:27]
what those five million Israeli flags
[04:29]
planted on church grounds represents.
[04:32]
And it's not from some big mainstream
[04:35]
media. It's not from some big expensive
[04:37]
campaign. This is grassroots. These are
[04:40]
Christian brave leaders who have come
[04:42]
and said, "We want to be part of this.
[04:44]
Could we please be part of this? We want
[04:47]
to have a day to honor Israel. We want
[04:50]
to commemorate October 7th." And that is
[04:53]
God working through the hearts of
[04:55]
Christians. I know it. I feel it. I see
[04:58]
it. And here in Israel, as we are in the
[05:00]
week of October 7th, it can't be summed
[05:04]
up in words what that means to us. To
[05:06]
know that we have friends. To know that
[05:07]
we're not alone. To know that we are
[05:09]
loved. To know that as Jews around the
[05:11]
world are scared to wave their Israeli
[05:13]
flag, Christians around the world are
[05:15]
waving it in to get in solidarity with
[05:18]
them. And on a personal note, my
[05:21]
daughter is based on an army base. She's
[05:24]
doing her mandatory military service and
[05:26]
she's based on an army base that was
[05:28]
taken over by terrorists on October 7th.
[05:30]
She's based right by the Gaza Strip. And
[05:33]
her army base where she is right now at
[05:35]
this very moment on October 7th was
[05:37]
taken over by terrorists. Lots of people
[05:40]
killed, lots of young girls, 19-year-old
[05:43]
girls that were killed there. and to
[05:46]
have a daughter that's now there
[05:48]
protecting that base, protecting those
[05:50]
borders, protecting Israel. And to be
[05:52]
able to tell her, "My love, you're not
[05:54]
alone. There are millions of Christians
[05:56]
who are praying for you and holding you
[05:58]
up in prayer and love is the biggest
[06:01]
comfort as a mother that you can give
[06:03]
me." So, thank you. Thank you. Thank
[06:05]
