Transcript [00:00] 13 dead in attacks on Saudi airports, [00:03] including [music] [00:03] one American citizen. Will the US strike [00:06] back before the midterm elections? And [00:08] will new video shows Gazin's glorifying [00:10] [music] October 7th and the US announces [00:12] plans for a televised execution? We ask, [00:15] are we successfully [music] deterring [00:17] terror or are we fueling the next [00:19] attack? We're unpacking all of it today [00:21] on [music] the Quad. Welcome back to the [00:24] Quad on JNS. I'm here with our [00:26] incredible panel once again, Bellamy [00:28] Baluchcci, Shosana Keats Jascal, and [00:30] Ruthie Bloom. And we have a lot to [00:32] unpack today. It's been another busy [00:34] week here in the Middle East and beyond. [00:36] First and foremost, a lot of attacks on [00:39] the Saudi Arabian airport. We've seen [00:41] multiple waves of strikes from Houthi [00:43] terrorists targeting the airport. [00:45] Hundreds have been injured. At least 13 [00:47] have been killed in these strikes. And [00:50] this is a major escalation in the Middle [00:52] East. What's behind all of this? Let's [00:55] discuss. Ruthie, is the US going to get [00:57] involved? Should they get involved? What [00:59] is going on here? What's the agenda here [01:01] of the Houthis? [01:02] >> Well, first of all, uh, President Trump [01:05] said, "I don't know. We'll see." Right? [01:07] But one of the things we know is that [01:08] Saudi Arabia signed the Mecca Accords [01:12] with Pakistan and um and Turkey. And [01:16] interestingly, they say, "Sorry, we're [01:18] not helping you." And I know that [01:20] President Trump has said in the past [01:22] been sort of sarcastic about that. It's [01:24] like, you know what, you didn't help us [01:26] all along. And Saudi Arabia, as he said, [01:28] has a very powerful army. I mean, at [01:30] least it has uh a lot of equipment. I [01:33] don't know how powerful its pilots are [01:35] or its army, but uh so here's the thing. [01:39] Uh, I don't think he's going to do [01:41] anything before the midterms, but if he [01:44] does, it'll probably be minimal because [01:46] precisely because now we see that at [01:48] least Saudi Arabia is taking agency and [01:52] doing something about it. [01:54] >> Well, you know, should he, I think, is [01:56] the real question here because there's a [01:58] lot of factors at play. I mean, I know [01:59] we've even talked about the possibility [02:01] of Israel assisting in the fight against [02:03] the Houthis. I'm not sure that the [02:04] Saudis are prepared for that yet, [02:06] although I think we've helped a little [02:07] bit behind the scenes. Um, but is there [02:10] an agenda here for the United States? I [02:12] mean, should they be intervening in some [02:14] regard or is this sort of like, you [02:16] know, you didn't help us, so we're not [02:18] going to help you like like we've heard. [02:20] I mean, Susanna, what's your take? [02:22] >> I just find it interesting that last [02:23] week we were talking about the Saudis [02:26] helping an a fly Dubai flight full of [02:28] Israelis that landed in the desert in [02:30] Saudi Arabia, and now the Saudis are [02:32] being attacked. I'm not saying that [02:34] they're connected. I'm just asking [02:36] questions as some of our favorite Yes. [02:39] as some of our favorite commentaries [02:40] say. But it is interesting thinking [02:42] about that. Um the Houthis don't really [02:44] need an excuse to attack the the uh [02:47] Saudis because as we know Iran is behind [02:50] the Houthis. Um so should the Americans [02:52] get involved? I mean I don't think we [02:56] have a choice at what we being Americans [02:58] and Israelis uh because it's not going [03:00] away. Meaning they're doing this. It's [03:01] it's leading up. It's going to happen. [03:03] We will be involved. The question [03:05] exactly is when? After November, after [03:06] October, I think it's going to happen. [03:08] That's a really interesting uh thing to [03:10] bring up because if you look at how the [03:12] Islamic Republic behaved with other [03:14] regional uh countries, they attacked it [03:17] much more than Israel as we saw during [03:18] the war. We saw the UAE being targeted. [03:20] It's literally a war in my eyes, a war [03:23] on the Abraham Accords. Um that is what [03:25] they are trying to do with the Islamic [03:27] Republic and all of their proxy forces [03:29] including of course the Houthis. Uh so [03:31] I'm not really surprised. Again I don't [03:33] know if it's uh directly related as you [03:36] as you mentioned but it I find it hard [03:37] to believe it's just a coincidence. Um I [03:40] mean I know that they've the Islamic [03:41] Republic is trying to sort of establish [03:43] itself as the leader of the Islamic [03:46] world by cutting down Saudi. I think [03:48] it's also them trying to send a message [03:50] to the United States to test the [03:52] patience of the United States. So, [03:54] personally, I think the US doesn't have [03:56] a choice. I mean, just in terms of [03:58] deterrence, something has to be done. [04:01] Um, we cannot allow this kind of thing [04:03] to go unanswered, especially when, you [04:05] know, they're killing an American [04:06] citizen. And I fully expect that this [04:09] will escalate because that's what the [04:11] Houthis are, you know, that's what [04:12] they're doing. This is what the Islamic [04:14] Republic wants to do. But, but I mean, [04:15] what do you think about the situation? I [04:16] think when it's it's like a bully. You [04:19] can poke and poke and poke as much as [04:20] you want. And they're doing it very [04:21] strategically because of the timing. So [04:24] if I say to you, I'm not going to do [04:25] something until after the midterms or [04:28] until after the the elections right here [04:30] in Israel, you as somebody that wants to [04:32] attack me globally will go and poke. I'm [04:35] going to actually push you to the point [04:37] where you have to do something. But then [04:39] also it it almost seems as though it's [04:41] an insult on the Abraham Accords because [04:43] it's kind of pushing back on the um what [04:45] is it on the diplomatic precedent that [04:47] it actually holds. Like where exactly [04:48] and how far are they willing to push in [04:51] order to delegitimize [04:53] what the Abraham Accords hold is just my [04:56] opinion. Well, it's weird because in a [04:57] way they're actually pushing Saudi [04:58] Arabia towards Israel. I mean, I hope I [05:02] genuinely hope that, you know, in the [05:03] near future that we that this is what [05:05] comes to fruition with Saudi Arabia, [05:07] regardless of what their policies are. I [05:09] think it's always good for Israel to [05:11] expand diplomatic relations whenever and [05:13] wherever possible. That being said, I [05:16] mean, I'm not really sure that that [05:17] they're prepared for that. I mean, what [05:18] is Israel's role in this if there is a [05:21] role? What do you think? [05:22] >> Well, first of all, interesting about [05:24] the poking. Notice that in all this [05:26] time, Israel was not poked. And that's [05:29] telling because that means that uh the [05:32] Islamic Republic and its proxies know [05:34] that if they mess with Israel, they're [05:36] in way bigger trouble. That's one thing. [05:39] But also, as far as the United States is [05:42] concerned or whether it should be [05:43] helping Saudi Arabia against the [05:45] Houthis, the United States has to tackle [05:47] Iran. I mean, and then the Houth I mean [05:50] that is the Houthis. So should uh Trump [05:54] uh perform conduct a military operation [05:56] right now against the Houthis or should [05:58] he wait another couple of weeks and go [06:00] back into Iran and uh obviously Iran's [06:04] the head of the snake here and therefore [06:05] now as for as where Israel is concerned [06:08] no I believe Israel is going to end up [06:09] yes uh conducting another military [06:12] operation against Iran and so the [06:14] Houthies right now are small fry and [06:17] maybe Israel should not uh get involved [06:19] unless specifically asked passed by [06:21] President Trump. That's [06:23] >> or perhaps by Saudi Arabia or perhaps by [06:25] even better. Yeah. Yeah. But you know, I [06:27] do have to ask to play devil's advocate [06:29] a little bit. I mean, we have seen [06:32] pretty significant strikes on Houthi [06:34] targets by both Israel and the United [06:36] States in repeated waves and they don't [06:39] seem to be deterred, at least not [06:40] effectively, as we see these strikes on [06:42] an international airport. Okay, these [06:44] aren't these are civilian targets. [06:45] >> It's shocking. So, if they haven't been [06:48] deterred by what's happened so far, uh, [06:50] you know, the obvious question is what [06:51] will deter them? Now, I have my own [06:53] opinions. I happen to think we won't see [06:55] a change until there's a change in [06:56] Thran. Um, but is there a way for the [07:00] United States andor Israel as well as [07:02] other allies uh to to combat the Houthis [07:05] and to shut down this terror proxy? I [07:08] mean, Shauna, what's your take? I really [07:10] think that I agree with you that without [07:13] Iran, the Iranian regime being taken [07:15] out, it's tentacles, right? And there's [07:17] they're the Houthies are attacking [07:19] because their Iranian overlords are [07:21] telling them to attack. Same with Kamas, [07:22] same with so I agree with you. I would I [07:24] would rather see all forces go in and [07:27] take out the Iranian regime. What what [07:29] that means exactly, I don't know. I [07:30] can't tell you exactly the best way to [07:32] do it that wouldn't lead to greater [07:33] chaos. But I do think that taking out [07:35] their money, taking out their funds, [07:37] taking out their resources, I mean, they [07:39] can't shoot rockets if they don't have [07:40] rockets. They can't fuel rockets if they [07:42] don't have the fuel. So those [07:43] >> Well, they're using GPT for that. So [07:46] >> Oh, God. Don't get me on AI, Emily. [07:48] Okay. [07:49] >> Oh no. [07:50] >> But um but I do think that the end of [07:53] the day, whether it's after the midterms [07:54] and then all hell breaks loose, like [07:56] we're able to like, you know, if Trump [07:57] can get through and we can get through [07:58] our, you know, maybe have a government [08:00] that functions, who knows? Um, and then [08:01] we can actually go and say, "Okay, [08:03] >> that [08:04] >> we're out." You know, like we're taking [08:05] you out because because there's nothing [08:07] that is going to change. And frankly, I [08:09] think it's disgust. Like it war is [08:11] horrible, but like to attack a civilian [08:13] airport [08:14] >> like that's like [08:15] >> and the Islamic Republic and their [08:17] proxies are normalizing this kind of [08:19] thing. That's what's like very alarming [08:21] and why I think exactly why I think the [08:23] US and other partners have every reason [08:25] to be involved in this. This this is not [08:27] just an issue of, you know, the Middle [08:29] East or or of Israel or anything like [08:31] that. This is much [08:32] >> changing. It's changing the norms of [08:34] warfare and it's not okay. And I will [08:37] tell you that as someone who regularly [08:39] sees Ukrainians and we talk about how [08:41] their family is back in Ukraine, it's [08:44] it's insane that no one's talking about [08:45] what Russia is doing in Ukraine. Like, I [08:47] cannot get over the 18,000, you know, [08:52] kilowatts on on on on Israel and Gaza [08:54] and whatever. nothing on Ukraine and [08:56] Russia and what's going on over there [08:57] and the thousands and hundreds of [08:58] thousands of people who are just dying. [09:01] >> Well, you know, moving on to the next [09:02] topic, uh Gaza, light and easy topics as [09:05] usual. Three years since October 7th, we [09:08] marked this past week and we're still [09:11] dealing with the situation in Gaza. It [09:12] has not been completed. Hamas is still [09:14] armed and there's a lot of different [09:17] chatter we hear coming from the people [09:19] on the ground inside of Gaza. On the one [09:21] hand, we hear people who are able to [09:23] acknowledge maybe that wasn't such a [09:25] good idea what we did on October 7th. On [09:27] the other hand, you have people who are [09:29] doubling down on this, saying we're [09:31] going to do it again and again and [09:32] again, just like Hamas committed to. [09:34] Take a look at this. [09:45] foreign. [10:04] October. [10:37] We we do have quite a quite the [10:39] dichotomy there. I mean we saw a little [10:40] bit of this at first a little bit. I [10:43] think from what I see it has increased. [10:45] There has been more people who are ready [10:47] to say maybe that's not a great idea. Um [10:50] but not enough. I think I'm not really [10:52] convinced by this and I'm not sure uh [10:55] you know after three years of fighting [10:57] uh that we have been able to at least so [11:00] far we're in the middle of it. It's not [11:01] over yet uh to prevent uh a future [11:04] escalation a future October 7th. And [11:06] then of course you see this argument [11:08] before we discuss you see this argument [11:10] about uh all these people saying that [11:12] perhaps the uh aggression against Gaza [11:15] in response to October 7th is creating [11:18] even more terrorists. Now, this is a [11:19] logic that I think probably all of us [11:21] reject, and we'll discuss in a minute, [11:23] but I do want to take a look at what [11:24] some uh not very educated, I'll say, [11:27] commentators have to say. Let's take a [11:29] look. [11:30] >> When you respond to a terrorist attack [11:32] like October uh 6th with a campaign [11:36] basically, of genocide and eradication, [11:38] you are going to get more terrorism that [11:40] blows back on you. That's going to [11:42] happen to the Israelis. And because we [11:44] are paying for this lock, stock, and [11:46] barrel, it will blow back on us. vast [11:49] majority of domestic terrorist attacks [11:51] last year in 2025 that happened here in [11:54] America. The perpetrators of those [11:56] attacks, whether they were secular or [11:57] whether they were Muslim, they cited the [11:59] atrocities in Gaza for the reason that [12:01] they conducted the attack here in [12:03] America. [12:05] >> Well, just so our viewers understand, [12:07] that's Joe Kent, who was fired from his [12:09] position uh in the intelligence [12:10] community in the United States for [12:12] leaking documents. We still don't know [12:14] the full extent of it. So I would take [12:16] anything that that one says with a grain [12:17] of salt. But nonetheless, this is an [12:19] argument that people are trying uh to [12:22] make. Why is that? Is there any truth to [12:24] it? And how does one respond to it? I [12:26] mean, Shashana, what's your take? [12:27] >> It's ridiculous. I mean, the whole [12:28] concept of you made me do it. It sounds [12:31] like a like a like an abusive man in a [12:33] relationship. Like, well, look what you [12:35] made me do. [12:36] >> I'm sorry. I picked up your your fist [12:38] and made you hit me with it. No, you [12:40] obviously listen, they are they ran into [12:43] our rocket. [12:44] >> Yeah. No, I mean this they are [12:45] genocidal. They are jihadi. They believe [12:47] that that that their success only comes [12:50] with our demise. That's the way that's [12:52] the rules of their game. And so if [12:54] you're going to strap a bomb to yourself [12:57] and commit suicide to kill other people, [12:59] you've either been indoctrinated to do [13:01] so or you've been motivated to do so. [13:04] But no one does so because they're angry [13:06] and sad about a war. Nobody does so [13:09] because they're I mean there were Jews [13:12] who fought back in the war who were left [13:15] with nothing and no one the the final uh [13:18] surviving member of their family move to [13:21] a new uh place and tried just to live [13:25] and create another generation [13:28] thousands tens of thousands. So to say [13:30] that this is because of that is so it's [13:33] it's it's it's so inhumane for those [13:36] people as well because no one's looking [13:38] to unindoctrinate the generation and [13:42] they're just saying well what does that [13:44] even mean? I think it's even more [13:46] dangerous than that, this thinking, [13:48] because the reason that countries like [13:50] the United States or like Israel respond [13:52] to terrorism is because if they don't, [13:55] it gets worse. And that's what's lacking [13:57] in the the logic of people like Joe [14:00] Kent, that they assume that the actions [14:03] of jihadist organizations are rational [14:06] like perhaps the United States or other [14:08] Western democratic countries. And that's [14:10] that's simply not the reality. you know, [14:12] they they're misunderstanding or [14:13] refusing to accept that these jihadists [14:16] are are jihadists, that this is what [14:18] their ideology actually holds. No one [14:21] made them jihadist. This was their [14:23] mentality from the beginning. [14:24] >> You know, it's as stupid as this idea [14:28] that Israelis have had for decades that [14:31] really all you have to do is give work [14:33] permit and help them and you know, [14:35] health care or whatever and then they [14:37] won't be jihadists, which is ridiculous. [14:40] And it's [14:40] >> and it's been proven wrong that Osama [14:42] bin Laden was not some poor guy who [14:44] needed a work permit. Okay. And it's [14:47] interesting in the United Arab Emirates [14:50] um um citizens are discouraged from [14:55] going to study in Britain so that they [14:57] don't become radicalized in mosques. Can [15:01] you imagine in an Arab country saying [15:03] don't go to Britain. That's where we are [15:05] today. As for the Gazins, you know, in [15:07] the beginning of the war, uh, some of [15:09] them came out and said, "You're ruining [15:11] our life about Hamas," but that wasn't [15:13] because they were pro-Israel or pro [15:15] peace. That and then and also, uh, any [15:18] one who said that was likely to be [15:20] killed or something if if he was caught [15:22] saying that on camera. [15:24] >> Today, it's a little different. what you [15:26] have what I think and can interpret [15:28] someone proudly saying we want peace [15:31] means that enough kamas terrorists were [15:34] killed and um these are people who are [15:38] in a safe zone and less afraid that the [15:41] remaining that the remaining terrorists [15:43] are going to kill them for saying that [15:45] that's one thing and then the others are [15:47] still jihadists the ones who say that [15:49] they want another October 7th [15:50] >> well you know another thing another [15:52] issue that I have with the approach of [15:53] people like Joe Kent is that it absor [15:55] absolves um the entire at least in our [15:59] conflict here it absolves Hamas of any [16:01] responsibility for their actions and [16:02] this I think has been one of the primary [16:05] obstacles to peace over time uh that no [16:08] one is ready to hold the Palestinians [16:11] accountable for their actions for their [16:13] refusal to make peace for their [16:15] rejectionism for you know 70 plus years [16:18] it isn't new and the conversation we see [16:20] in the international community is [16:22] focused entirely on Israel what is [16:25] Israel doing what's happening in Judea [16:26] and Samaria, what's happening in Gaza, [16:28] all of the accusations and of genocide [16:31] and all these liels and smears that we [16:33] hear about Israel, it's very obvious uh [16:36] one that there's a a subversion campaign [16:38] going on uh because you see the [16:40] situation in Israel being treated than [16:41] any other conflict or war in the world. [16:43] But even further than that, um that you [16:45] see people don't they don't really [16:47] understand, you know, they don't [16:48] understand what's going on or they [16:49] refuse to accept it. I I happen to think [16:51] Joe Kent knows full well and that he is [16:54] a liar and a charlatan, but uh I I think [16:57] that there are some people who [16:58] innocently and naively believe that uh [17:01] that that's the the correct way to look [17:03] at things. [17:03] >> Well, after 100,000 I think uh Japanese [17:06] were killed in Hiroshima Nagasaki, we [17:08] did not have jihadis. We did not have in [17:11] fact we used to have the kamicazis and [17:13] we don't have the kamicazis anymore. and [17:15] they prospered and they made a very [17:18] prosperous society because they said, [17:20] you know, this ain't the way to go. This [17:23] is not the path to pro to to prosperity. [17:26] And so they learned that war was not [17:28] good and they haven't had problems, [17:31] right? So some people, you know, compare [17:33] that Gaza to Japan, dradicalizing, [17:36] making them understand that this is not [17:38] the way to go, un unjiing the population [17:42] really. And so that the first people in [17:44] this video can be the majority versus [17:46] the second part. Which in my opinion, by [17:48] the way, I think this is also a result [17:50] of the destruction. What people say, oh [17:53] well, it's God's plan and until our last [17:55] breath. I mean, that's what you do when [17:57] you have nothing else. You're like, you [17:58] know, my son was murdered. I'm sure [17:59] there was a reason. Like that's like [18:01] also something a defense mechanism that [18:03] your brain does for you. So I think I [18:05] think that we want obviously we want [18:07] more of the first type of people in the [18:09] video who see, you know what, let's just [18:10] live in peace. But I don't. But no, Ken, [18:13] Joe, Ken, it's not gonna happen simply [18:15] if Israel's like, "Okay, never mind. We [18:17] don't care and we're not fighting." [18:19] >> It feels like there's only there are [18:20] only two options for people that [18:21] genuinely don't want that type of life [18:23] anymore. You either have to make it out [18:25] or you're going to be killed [18:27] >> for what you said. And what what's [18:29] terrifying for me to look at for people [18:31] that truly care about Gaza and truly [18:33] care about Palestine, if you really are [18:35] focused on Hamas and dradicalizing and [18:37] getting a terrorist entity out of it, [18:40] then you give the civilians a chance [18:42] >> to actually build their own country [18:45] their way. How they would do that, I [18:47] don't know. But I'm just saying you at [18:49] least give them a corridor and a chance [18:51] to do it at home where they are. Because [18:54] it's weird that they they're being [18:56] pushed out. It's not by Israel that's [18:57] pushing them out. They're being pushed [18:59] out, those that make it out because they [19:01] are under terrorists. They they're under [19:04] terrorist regime and they're they're not [19:06] actual people. They don't see them as [19:08] people because they don't just use them [19:09] as shields. They will get you down to a [19:11] point where you can afford anything to [19:13] eat just like Robert McGami did with the [19:15] Zimbabweans where you don't have [19:16] anything so that you can be used by [19:18] militia. [19:19] >> Yeah. Yeah, I mean I think that the the [19:21] subversion here is really what's to [19:22] blame for radicalization and this [19:24] concept of blowback that people like Joe [19:26] Kent uh love to talk about. Uh the [19:29] reality of the situation is it isn't [19:30] what Israel did that's to blame for [19:32] radicalization. Uh it is the subversion [19:35] campaign and and if you don't have any [19:38] you don't need to look at any further uh [19:40] any further proof than than what's [19:42] happening in Ukraine like you talked [19:43] about. You know, the reaction to Ukraine [19:45] self-defense is not the same thing. But [19:47] when Israel does it, oh well, they're [19:48] going to be more terrorists as a result. [19:50] As a result of Israel defending itself [19:52] and not laying down to die, there's [19:54] going to be more terrorists. No, there's [19:56] going to be more terrorists because you [19:58] are actively radicalizing and you, I [20:00] mean Qatar, the Islamic Republic, [20:02] Turkey, and the other people involved in [20:03] promoting disinformation in media and [20:06] social media about what's happening and [20:08] what has been happening in Gaza. is [20:11] liable that it's a genocide, which by [20:13] the way, they were claiming before [20:14] October 7th had even ended in many of [20:17] these protests. Oh, the genocide in [20:18] Gaza, the genocide in Gaza. It's [20:20] propaganda. It's intentionally using [20:23] words that have legal definitions in [20:25] order to incite against not just Israel, [20:28] but the Jewish community as a whole. And [20:30] that's exactly what we've seen. And so [20:31] to look at that situation and to come [20:33] away and say, "Oh, well, it's Israel's [20:35] fault because of what they did in Gaza. [20:36] It's so terrible." War is awful. I mean, [20:40] the visuals from Gaza are horrendous. [20:42] But, as I said on, you know, Pierce [20:44] Morgan this week, you can't determine [20:46] the morality or the legality of any war [20:49] from photos. You can't. Nope. You can't. [20:52] >> And often those photos are from [20:54] different wars. There have been a lot of [20:56] photos circulating that aren't even [20:58] Gaza. But, by the way, the population in [21:02] Gaza has grown since October 7th, 2023. [21:06] Some genocide that is. Not only that, [21:09] when you look at the famine statistics [21:10] that were released just a few weeks ago [21:12] about 2025, you see that the rate of [21:14] malnutrition was actually lower than the [21:16] year before the war started. Like how [21:19] it's obvious it's obvious that all of [21:22] these accusations made against Israel [21:24] are nonsense. And so many people are [21:25] just too lazy to do the due diligence. [21:28] >> It's not lazy anymore. There's been [21:30] enough time. It's not lazy anymore. The [21:32] the all the information is there. We're [21:35] not living at the beginning of the 1990s [21:37] where information is not, you know, a [21:38] you're not able to source it. It's on [21:40] your phone. It's all there. It's not [21:42] like some things are being hidden. You, [21:44] it's up to you to pick exactly where you [21:47] get your news from, number one, and [21:49] exactly how you're going to say, is this [21:51] right or is this wrong? Ultimately, you [21:53] come in as one person, but then with all [21:55] the information given, where do you [21:57] stand? And second of all, I want to make [21:58] a comment on to what you said. It's not [22:00] laziness anymore because this week, this [22:02] past week, Z-Wway, a very popular black [22:05] girl in the United States of America on [22:06] her podcast had Hassan [Â __Â ] who was [22:08] dressed in a Chinese suit looking like [22:10] Mao that he had made. It's the only suit [22:12] that he owns. And you want to tell me [22:14] that that was just, oh, because he felt [22:15] like it. No, he's being celebrated [22:17] online and people are saying, I don't [22:19] care what anybody says, but daddy looks [22:21] so sexy. He's so sexy. I don't care what [22:23] he does, what he believes. That's [22:24] >> But they're against genocide despite the [22:26] fact that, you know, he was responsible [22:27] for tens of millions of people dying. [22:30] But [22:30] >> yeah, [22:31] >> and by the way, interesting, nobody's [22:33] accusing Hassan Perropriation [22:36] by being dressed in a Chinese outfit. [22:39] >> No, cuz he's he's extreme enough that he [22:41] speaks to their extremities. So I that's [22:44] where I say I I I refuse to say that [22:46] it's laziness anymore. It's a choice. [22:48] >> Yeah. [22:49] >> Yeah. Well, before we move on to [22:50] scumbags and hearers, I do want to [22:52] discuss one very interesting story that [22:53] we're seeing from the United States. [22:55] Now, uh the US announced this week the [22:57] Secretary of Defense uh Pete Hegsth [22:59] announced that they are going to be [23:01] executing uh the terrorist Nidal Hassan [23:04] who was convicted of murdering 13 people [23:06] in a terror attack in the Fort Hood [23:08] shooting in Texas back in 2009. They [23:11] announced that they're planning to [23:12] execute him uh using a firing squad and [23:16] they plan to live stream it. We'll [23:18] discuss in just a moment, but take a [23:19] look at what Pete Hexath had to say. [23:21] >> Nob-brainer. Execution by firing squad. [23:25] Army major betrays his country. Radical [23:27] Islamist kills a bunch of Americans at [23:28] Fort Hood. Of course, we're going to do [23:30] it at Fort Hood. Going to do it on a [23:32] Thursday. We're going to do it at 1:00, [23:33] which is when he did it. And it's going [23:34] to be soldiers with rifles executing the [23:37] firing squad. We'll make sure that [23:39] people are able to to watch it, that [23:40] it's public, uh because people need to [23:43] understand that this is a there's [23:45] serious consequences for these types of [23:46] things. [23:47] Well, we see that this is the west [23:49] versus east mentality on full display. [23:52] Um, is he right? I mean, is this the [23:55] right thing to do, Shashana? You know, [23:58] like as someone who doesn't even allow [24:00] Wow, I gave up at this point, but I try [24:02] really hard not to allow like video [24:03] violent videos in my house. Like, I'm [24:06] not into that. [24:08] Watching execution is bad for your soul [24:11] in my opinion. So, I don't know. I I [24:13] don't know. Well, you know, [24:17] the trouble here is that whenever an [24:19] issue of the death penalty comes up in [24:21] the United States or anywhere, I mean, [24:24] in democracies, [24:26] um, everyone is focused on the person [24:30] maybe being executed or slated to be [24:32] executed and not on the victims of that [24:35] person. [24:36] uh last week whenever it was this woman [24:39] um Christa Pike was uh finally after 30 [24:43] years on death row uh given a lethal [24:46] injection and it didn't work. She [24:48] survived then they thought she was two [24:50] doses insane. [24:51] >> She survived and all of this stuff and [24:53] then it it seemed like so cruel and [24:56] horrible. But let me tell you something. [24:58] The torture that she imposed on her [25:00] victim 30 years ago that you don't hear [25:03] talked about. All it is is how cruel it [25:05] is to her. You know what I want to tell [25:06] you? When I heard the story of what she [25:08] did sadistically to uh another girl, she [25:11] was 19 and she was 19 about that age. Uh [25:15] she I can't I won't describe it here. [25:17] It's too graphic and too horrible. And [25:19] when I hear that I say, you know what, I [25:22] don't care if she dies a painful death. [25:24] Uh only from that. I'm not saying that [25:27] all that. I'm not saying that capital [25:29] punishment is a ser I mean a simple [25:31] issue. And the same thing with Fort [25:33] Hood. I don't know if you should live [25:35] stream it or you shouldn't, but again, [25:37] you know what about the families of [25:39] those victims? This guy who was in [25:41] uniform alongside those people and he [25:44] just gunned him down and he wounded [25:46] many. Yes, [25:47] >> that's that's I wish we would focus more [25:50] on the victims than on this discussion [25:52] about whether it's cruel uh to to [25:55] execute somebody first and foremost. [25:58] >> It doesn't mean that they all meaning I [25:59] hear what you're saying. I disagree, but [26:01] like it doesn't mean that they want to [26:02] even see it themselves. Like I don't [26:04] think just because you suffered means [26:05] that you want to watch this happen. [26:06] >> No, but not everyone has to watch it. [26:08] You will that's it's a tradition of you [26:11] know the United States says if you have [26:13] a public execution the whole point was [26:15] in the public square that the public is [26:17] allowed to watch it, not forced to watch [26:20] it. I again it sounds really primitive [26:22] and horrible and I wouldn't watch it. [26:24] Yeah. [26:24] >> But I'm saying I wish these discussions [26:27] focused on their victims. Do you even [26:29] know the names of the Fort Hood? You [26:31] know his name. Do you know their names? [26:33] No. And do you know that Christa Pike or [26:35] the the woman the girl she she brutally [26:39] slaughtered to death slowly and [26:41] painfully her name was Colleen. I mean [26:44] do we ever hear about her? That's the [26:45] trouble. That's the trouble here. [26:47] >> That's a great point. [26:48] >> I also think u it's good to always [26:50] remember that a civilian is treated much [26:52] different than somebody that is actually [26:54] in the army. True, right? And they also [26:55] are, you know, judged through different [26:58] court systems. Um, and in in terms of [27:01] exactly what their line of duty is and [27:03] what they actually did would be [27:04] different if a civilian did it. If a [27:06] civilian did it, you did it. It sucks. [27:08] And then you're going to be judged [27:09] differently. I'm all for the option of [27:12] watching it. I do not think that it is [27:14] cruel at all. [27:16] >> I I do think uh I think obviously the [27:19] death penalty is warranted in these [27:21] kinds of situations. It's not that I'm [27:22] opposed to that. I'm uncomfortable with [27:25] the concept of live streaming it and I'm [27:27] uncomfortable with the glorification of [27:28] it. [27:29] >> Yeah. [27:29] >> At the same time, it is not for [27:31] Americans. Uh that is not who this is [27:34] oriented towards. [27:36] >> It's very clear even from the comments [27:37] of the secretary I said secretary of [27:39] defense. I guess it's secretary of war, [27:40] right? Um but it's very clear in his [27:43] comments that this is about deterring [27:46] jihadism which is something I think is [27:48] absolutely necessary and um it is in a [27:51] way speaking the language of the Middle [27:54] East. Uh I don't know that that alone is [27:57] a bad thing. I just am not sure it's the [28:01] right thing for a country like the [28:02] United States to be sort of gloating [28:04] over. I'm not sure that's a healthy [28:06] thing for society in general. And I will [28:09] be honest, I don't know what the right [28:11] balance is. I don't know. I know to a [28:14] jihadist that is quite intimidating. It [28:16] can act as a deterrent. Um, to your [28:19] average American, it's very alienating [28:21] and it should be. It should be. [28:23] >> Well, talking about average Americans, [28:25] there's someone I want to tell you wrote [28:27] on threads, the people who don't want [28:28] you to watch Miss Rachel want you to [28:30] watch a public ex execution. [28:33] >> So, it's already starting first of all [28:35] to connect the Jews. Yeah. Shove them in [28:39] there. Um, and Israel and to try and [28:42] make some sort of, oh, don't watch Miss [28:44] Rachel, but watch this. And, and [28:46] >> who is encouraging people to watch? [28:48] That's what I'm saying. I haven't seen [28:50] anyone. No one's encouraging it. But at [28:52] the same time, when um, what's that? [28:54] Luigi Manion. [28:56] >> Yeah. [28:56] >> Went and opened fire. It celebrated. [28:59] That's what the left celebrated [29:02] celebrated. It literally gave them I'm [29:04] sorry to say this. It gave them hardons. [29:06] They they thought he was the sexiest [29:08] person. Mark Jacobs thinks that he's one [29:10] of the hottest people alive and will [29:11] dress him for his court cases. [29:13] >> Which is really making the point, Emily, [29:15] that America's already there. Meaning [29:18] like we say it's not good for American [29:19] society, girl. The American society that [29:21] you're thinking of, it don't exist [29:23] anymore. No, it it is a new freaking [29:25] world where these people are are are [29:28] putting, you know, headbands on and [29:32] flags and saying, "Well, you want the [29:35] watch this?" And I kind of like I wonder [29:38] like I wonder if this is answering fire [29:40] with fire. It is, [29:41] >> but is that the way forward? Well, you [29:43] know, that's that's the question. Is it [29:45] is it moral? Does it lead us to a better [29:47] place? Because there's always that [29:48] discussion of okay, they do X, so we [29:50] should do X. or because they're in a [29:52] position of leadership in in the [29:54] instance of the Secretary of War, should [29:56] they not do that? Should they be setting [29:57] an example of an alternative way to [29:59] approach this? [30:00] >> Well, here's the thing. In this [30:01] particular case, given the context and [30:04] the war against Iran, what I would say [30:07] is that it's not necessarily that it [30:09] deters jihadists from committing [30:11] terrorism, but that it is a statement to [30:15] the to the global jihad, that America is [30:18] no longer that wussy, weak America. And [30:22] that is, I think, a key point here. [30:24] We're strong. You are third world uh [30:28] nothings. we are strong and we're moral [30:31] and everything, but don't mess with us. [30:32] And that it that's the message about [30:34] America. [30:35] >> I think my big issue with it is if they [30:37] want to take a strong approach towards [30:39] this jihadist problem globally, not just [30:42] domestic, but globally, it's a very weak [30:45] move to climb on this hill and be like, [30:48] "Oh, look, we're executing him and it's [30:50] live stream. Look how tough we are." [30:51] Meanwhile, you have had multiple [30:53] ceasefires with the Islamic regime in [30:55] Iran. you are making all these like [30:57] weird memorandums of understanding that [30:59] really only benefit the Islamic regime. [31:01] You quit halfway through every war you [31:04] have. Like what are you doing? If you [31:06] want to be tough on on jihadism, then [31:09] finish the job. Okay? You're not even in [31:11] the position with the complications of [31:13] the state of Israel and yet still in a [31:15] right-wing Trump administration that [31:17] considers themselves so tough on all [31:19] these issues. What are you doing? What [31:22] are you do? Why are you giving all of [31:24] these breaks to extremists because I [31:26] don't know somebody in the [31:27] administration is friends with people in [31:28] Qatar? It's crazy to me. It's You can't [31:31] have it both ways. [31:32] >> Totally one. [31:33] >> It's totally crazy. [31:35] >> We know. [31:35] >> Yes. Totally crazy. [31:37] >> Well, I do want to move on to the [31:38] scumbags and heroes because there's lots [31:39] to discuss this week as it seems like [31:41] always. Ruthie, who's your scumbag of [31:43] the week? Well, my scumbag of the week [31:46] is the Nobel uh prize committee for [31:49] granting Na'vi Pelle the Nobel Prize [31:52] peace the Nobel Peace Prize. Um this [31:56] woman who has been around quite a while. [31:58] She's from South Africa and from you [32:00] know Durban the home of the Durban [32:04] conference uh on racism in other words [32:07] the most anti-Semitic two two [32:09] anti-semitic conferences etc. But she [32:12] also is a horrible person in her own [32:15] right um for being in the UN. I mean [32:19] this is like a twofer because it's the [32:20] UN and the Nobel committee and um she [32:23] basically was hired to write the report [32:25] on Gaza which which uh basically says [32:29] that Israel is a s sexually sadistic [32:33] country that we are the sexual abusers. [32:36] we were the sexual abusers on October [32:38] 7th or what? Um everything is an aver [32:41] inversion. Um and the genocide, the [32:44] report on genocide, yes, committing [32:46] genocide, but also the focus on sexual [32:50] crimes that Israel is a sexual predator. [32:54] um when we saw on camera Hamas which [32:58] filmed itself committing these acts [33:01] which raped and gleefully did so and [33:04] took photos of it and posted it on [33:06] social media and you still have these [33:08] figures like you said today it's all on [33:10] the internet right but doesn't matter uh [33:13] this is a horrible woman is she did [33:15] nothing to promote peace she has always [33:17] been a very bad actor and under the [33:20] guise of human rights so-called So that [33:24] she got the Nobel Peace Prize is just [33:26] not that we're surprised. The Nobel [33:27] Committee. The Nobel Committee does that [33:29] all the time. It's given many bad actors [33:32] prizes, but this is this is a recent [33:34] one. So that's my scumbag of the week. [33:37] >> It's a great scumbag. You know, there [33:38] was actually some discussion before this [33:40] was announced of them giving it to [33:42] Franchesca Albanzi, which [33:44] >> Oh, wow. I mean really I mean how it [33:47] used to be something very prestigious [33:49] and the way that they have disgraced [33:50] themselves is just [33:53] >> nothing else anymore. There's nothing of [33:54] integrity anymore. Nothing. [33:56] >> Shashan, who's your scumbag? [33:57] >> Oh, I have a repeat scumbag. I think [33:59] it's the Green Party in the UK because [34:03] they passed [34:05] >> with one with 1,022 votes in favor and [34:08] 813 against a resolution and they're a [34:12] great party of losers and ptheads um [34:16] that Zionism equals racism. And in the [34:20] UK, you will remember that it's better [34:23] to be a rapist than a racist. So they [34:26] have equated Zionism with racism. They [34:29] called for the establishment of a single [34:31] democratic uhhuh Palestinian state [34:34] across all of historic Palestine from [34:36] the river to the sea, which basically [34:38] means Israel is may. Um they support [34:42] BDS. And they refused, and this is the [34:45] kicker, refused the uh the suggested [34:49] resolution that would protect UK Jews [34:53] from this resolution within the party [34:56] within the party. So they're not just [34:59] saying Zionism, Zionism, racism, and [35:02] they're saying this about Israel, and [35:04] they're going to, you know, boycott. No, [35:05] no, no, no, no. They're also refusing to [35:07] protect the Jews in the UK who they are [35:10] putting in danger. I mean, the gloves [35:13] are off, the mask is gone. Like, this is [35:15] this is [35:17] I don't even have words anymore for [35:20] this. And and part of me says we [35:21] shouldn't be talking about them. Such [35:23] little fry fish, you know? But if you [35:25] don't talk about it now, then people [35:27] say, "Well, I didn't see this coming. [35:29] How did I how didn't you know?" No, no, [35:30] no. You have to look at it and you have [35:31] to say, "Look what's going on." They [35:33] refused even with Jews in the party. [35:36] They refused to protect the Jews of the [35:39] party of the country in which they live, [35:42] letting let alone any any innocent [35:44] Israelis. So this is something that [35:47] needs to be watched and understood how [35:49] it evolves and how they have zero um [35:53] they have no room to say we didn't cause [35:57] whatever violence comes next because you [35:59] did. They did. So your mask come back. [36:02] >> That's excellent. [36:02] >> Yeah. Very much. [36:04] >> You know what it reminds me of that that [36:06] there are any Jews in that party [36:07] altogether. Okay. We know and Jews tend [36:09] to be on the left and all that. Fine. [36:11] the as but right the as a Jews but here [36:14] it just is sort of reminiscent of some [36:16] of the people on October 7th in the [36:18] kibbutima they were so they were [36:20] genuinely peaceoriented genuinely [36:24] believed in peace with the Gaza [36:26] residents helped them befriended them um [36:29] took them to hospitals uh I'm not being [36:32] sarcastic here I mean it meant it didn't [36:34] protect them yeah [36:35] >> from the the being slaughtered raped [36:38] everything it just didn't and Jews in [36:40] this party they're not exempt I mean [36:43] that's it if someone want hates you as a [36:46] Jew it won't help that you're on his [36:48] side politically [36:49] >> it happened last week with Mandaniwami [36:52] wrote this much this little on October [36:54] 7th and the rest of it was a migilla [36:56] basically what aboutis in like it was a [36:59] whole what aboutism situation that [37:00] happened there only for him then to show [37:02] up at the vigual with all the [37:04] progressive Jews rabbis that I could [37:06] name right now um all to show up there [37:09] and then go and have a meal [37:11] at a Palestinian restaurant afterwards [37:13] cuz that what that means I've ticked all [37:15] the boxes for everybody. [37:16] >> A Palestinian restaurant that supported [37:18] October 7th. important to emphasize it's [37:19] not just you know ethnicity [37:21] >> from standing with the juice that you [37:23] support to then going and eating with [37:25] somebody that supported [37:26] >> but the DSA was attacking him in the [37:28] protest part that was the because he [37:30] dared to mention his whole rant was you [37:33] know against anti-Israel uh but because [37:36] he just g paid a little lip service to [37:39] the crimes on October 7th by kamas I [37:42] don't know how he even worded it but the [37:43] DSA went after him and they called him a [37:46] trainer the same is happening with Medi [37:49] Hassan. [37:50] >> Oh yeah, [37:52] >> the revolution always eats their own. [37:53] >> They do. [37:54] >> We saw it in 79 and apparently some [37:56] people have not learned that lesson. [37:58] >> Bellamy, who's your scumbag? [38:00] >> Mine is Mondo Weiss. That is um Philip [38:02] Weiss and Adam Harowitz and it's because [38:05] of a video that I saw from Bisang. All [38:08] right. Um and it was on October 7th and [38:10] it was filmed by them, produced by them. [38:12] That's their whole shindig. And before [38:14] October 7th, by the way, they were [38:15] pretty much, you know, all about [38:18] reporting within the Middle East, not [38:19] specifically just focusing on Gaza and [38:21] on Palestine. After October 7th, it [38:23] flipped over and became a totally [38:24] different thing where you have Jews that [38:27] are using the pain and the truth of [38:30] Israelis and Jewish people against us to [38:34] give them a narrative. So, I have a [38:36] problem when I'm hearing Bisam say, [38:38] "Since October 7th, we haven't been able [38:40] to mourn." [38:41] Hi, this is Bisan. [38:44] And after 3 years, when I think about [38:47] the genocide, I immediately think about [38:49] time distortion. How time is not the [38:52] same for Palestinians in Gaza and for [38:55] the entire world. We are stuck in 2023. [39:00] I feel we're still there, but at the [39:02] same time, anything happened before 2023 [39:04] or before October 2023 is in the past. a [39:08] place that we can't go, a person that we [39:10] can't see, a life that has gone forever. [39:14] It's if gazans are stuck and the entire [39:17] world is moving forward. [39:21] But even for this, maybe the most [39:24] [music] horrific thing that happened to [39:26] Palestinians is that the Palestinians in [39:29] Gaza particularly is that they were [39:31] [music] deprived from the basic human [39:34] right. [39:35] They were deprived from their right to [39:37] grieve. [39:39] >> I watched this whole 7 minute, 8 minute [39:41] thing. I felt as if I had closed my [39:44] eyes, I was listening to Israelis. Every [39:47] single word, every single edit to how [39:50] then it went into the slow music of [39:52] showing Gazen civilian children [39:54] starving. It the production is amazing. [39:56] But always is [39:57] >> honestly gakanaf and yam to you for not [40:00] even understanding that you will still [40:02] be next on the list. What I find more [40:05] disgusting and what makes me sick is [40:06] that it's Jews that are using the pain [40:09] of Jews to give jihadists a script. [40:13] >> Yeah. [40:14] >> To make them the victims in this whole [40:16] thing. That for me is the most [40:18] disgusting thing. And I really hope that [40:19] the as a Jews um have a far higher [40:23] calling in Ganed and somewhere else that [40:25] I don't know about because whatever this [40:28] is that's going on plain and simple is [40:31] beyond that derogatory term of Arav. [40:34] Take Judaism, take everything out of it. [40:35] If you truly are for somebody that [40:38] stands for humanity and truth, this is [40:40] disgusting. [40:42] >> Couldn't disagree there. Definitely. [40:44] Definitely not. [40:45] >> Yeah. [40:46] >> Yeah. And speaking of disgusting, my [40:47] scumbag [40:49] >> Chank, my best bet. [snorts] [40:53] H he's a semi-regular on Pierce Morgan. [40:55] He's also the host of The Young Turks. [40:57] Yes. Named after the people who [40:58] committed genocide against Armenians. [41:00] But we're quiet about that, you know. So [41:02] Cheng really loves to debate with me. So [41:05] much so that he absolutely lost his in [41:07] his last debate with me this past week. [41:10] Take a look at what happened. [41:12] Can we also condemn October 6, 55 years [41:15] of disgusting fascist occupation of the [41:18] Palestinian? Can we also condemn you? [41:20] Hold on, LET ME FINISH. AND OCTOBER 8TH, [41:23] LET ME FINISH. Zionist October 8th and [41:27] they're pretending that all Jews agree [41:29] with their terrorism and their fascism [41:31] when that is definitely not true. [41:33] They're European fascist colonizers who [41:35] have done NOTHING BUT [laughter] MURDER [41:37] THE PALESTINIAN, steal their land, steal [41:40] their homes, [41:42] Palestinian. [41:43] >> So, basically what we've learned is that [41:46] the way to trigger Chang, well, he [41:48] doesn't really require anything to [41:49] trigger him. He usually goes on these [41:51] lengthy rants about nonsense like spit, [41:53] you know, foaming at the mouth, spit [41:55] coming out. Um, but I have to say like [41:57] it was so enjoyable just to watch him [41:59] absolutely lose his mind. And I I regret [42:01] I was I'm kicking myself because after [42:03] he said that I Why didn't I respond and [42:06] say, you know, Jen, you you don't have [42:08] to say Zionist. You can just say Jews [42:10] these days. I mean, all your friends in [42:12] Hamas, have they not shown you that [42:14] through the last three years of [42:16] protesting the genocide in Gaza? But [42:20] nonetheless, it was quite enjoyable to [42:22] have the whole world see exactly who you [42:25] really are. You're absolutely a scumbag. [42:27] You've been a scumbag many weeks before [42:29] and you're still a scumbag. So, [42:30] >> oh man, may he oversleep when joy cometh [42:33] in the morning. [laughter] [42:34] >> Celebrating. [42:37] >> Yeah, he's like rabbit. He truly is. [42:39] Both him and Psycho Anna, they're [42:42] absolutely [42:43] >> unhinged to the point where like even [42:45] you see Pierce Morgan is like, "All [42:47] right, [laughter] like [42:48] >> calm down." [42:49] >> They really are unhinged. [42:50] >> He's going to give himself a heart [42:51] attack. You know, I did get the chance [42:52] to say this makes me very happy. I did [42:54] get the chance to say, "Chank, you [42:55] really need to calm down or your chair [42:57] is going to collapse." [42:58] >> Yes. Like, you know, at the rate he's [43:00] going, he's gonna have a heart attack on [43:02] air. So, [43:03] >> I don't know. I don't know. On to more [43:05] positive things. our heroes of the week. [43:08] Uh many many heroes we saw as well this [43:11] week. Uh Ruthie, can you start us off? [43:13] >> Yes. Uh this is a um recurring hero for [43:17] me. Marco Rubio, Secretary of State, [43:19] United States. [43:20] >> I think he's the most popular hero in [43:22] all of but as it happens, it was because [43:24] he did something this weekend on October [43:26] 7th, he gave a speech, a phenomenal [43:29] speech uh in front of the Acropolis in [43:32] Greece. And there he laid out how Greek [43:36] civilization affected uh uh western [43:40] civilization and how it made America how [43:44] the America great originally based on [43:47] all the values of valor and um and [43:51] excellence, striving for excellence, all [43:53] these things that have gone by the [43:55] wayside and victory over defeat and um [43:59] glory and being proud of your country [44:01] and who you are and that it doesn't mean [44:04] that you're bad to other people that [44:06] it's and he it was a long beautiful [44:10] speech really really powerful and it [44:13] just sort of reminds you what this is [44:15] all about I think occasionally we need [44:16] to be reminded in the west of those [44:20] civilizational [44:21] um values that are you know that we [44:24] we're not subjugated we need to and that [44:27] we need to win over the barbarians and [44:30] that really it comes from Greek culture [44:33] and that survived. And by the way, it's [44:35] the way we always say, look at all these [44:37] cultures who have died and who have [44:40] survived, which ones have survived. [44:42] >> Over time, we in the west came to feel [44:46] ashamed of the very things that made us [44:48] exceptional. [44:49] >> We felt embarrassed that our [44:50] achievements set us apart from the rest [44:52] of the world. Our prosperity [44:55] somehow became a source of guilt. [44:58] We no longer believed we deserved and [45:00] had earned our greatness. [45:03] The word nationalism became a dirty [45:05] word. And so we tore down our monuments. [45:08] We condemned our own history. And in too [45:11] many places, we taught our children to [45:12] be ashamed of the countries they would [45:14] inherit. [45:16] In the process, we opened our borders [45:18] and outsourced our industry and allowed [45:21] our militaries to wither and to decay. [45:23] And as the West's confidence faltered, [45:26] its adversaries and its rivals only grew [45:28] more assertive, [45:30] building up their own wealth and their [45:32] own power in ourstead. [45:35] >> So I just say cheers to Marco Rubio and [45:38] uh by the way for a while he kind of uh [45:41] disappeared into the background and I [45:42] even wrote a column about it like [45:44] where's Rubio? And it made me nervous [45:46] because he had been given all these [45:48] tasks and suddenly uh Vice President J. [45:51] D. advance was more front and center. I [45:53] now see that Marco Rubio is again in the [45:56] in the headlines more now and that [45:59] speech was beautiful. [46:01] >> We we like we like Marco. [46:03] >> Yeah, we we we love Marco Rubio. [46:05] >> We're fans. [46:06] >> Yeah. He also this week uh announced [46:08] with the sanctions against the ICC. So, [46:10] he's had a he's had a busy week. Hero as [46:12] our favorite hero at the Quad. [46:14] >> Uh who's your hero, Shashana? My hero is [46:18] very uh connected with my scumbags [46:20] because they responded to the Green [46:22] Party. It's a synagogue, the Highgate [46:23] United Synagogue in the UK in a scathing [46:27] letter that I'm going to read out a [46:29] little bit of to you because when they [46:32] were uh somebody sent from the Green I [46:33] don't know who exactly who Oh, Mark [46:35] Blake sent uh I guess a reassurance that [46:38] we're going to help protect you, right? [46:40] like the Green Party obviously put like [46:43] open season on UK's Jews and he's like [46:45] no no no we're going to protect you and [46:47] this is part of the letter that they [46:49] wrote back. Thank you for your emails to [46:51] emails to us. We take it from both the [46:54] tone and content of your email that you [46:56] are deeply embarrassed with the decision [46:57] taken by your party to not only brand [47:00] Zionism as racism, but to call for the [47:02] eradication by any means means [47:05] necessary, including violence, of the [47:07] only Jewish state, the only practicing [47:09] democracy in the Middle East and also [47:11] home to half of the world's Jewish [47:13] population. Out of the gate. Okay, [47:15] they're out the gate and they're like, [47:16] "Oh, you're embarrassed. Let's go over [47:18] why." Great. We're not surprised you're [47:20] embarrassed. They say the policy [47:21] decision was publicly celebrated by [47:24] Harrington branch of the Green Party, of [47:26] which we assume you're a member, and is [47:28] aligning itself with Kamas, a genocidal, [47:32] homophobic, and misogynistic Islamist [47:34] terrorist organization not only [47:36] responsible for the worst massacre of [47:38] Jews since the Holocaust and but [47:40] countless murders and tortures of its [47:42] own people. So, no, we're not going to [47:44] be British and nice about this. We're [47:46] going to remind you who you are aligning [47:48] yourself with. And it goes on and it [47:50] says, "We, this synagogue, along with [47:53] the majority of British synagogues, [47:55] recites the weekly Sabbath prayers for [47:56] both the royal family of the UK and the [47:59] state of Israel and will continue to do [48:02] so. During the appalling Middle Eastern [48:04] war, we prayed every week for an end to [48:05] hostilities and an end to suffering of [48:07] Palestinians as well as Jews." Look, you [48:09] can do both. You can do both. You can be [48:12] a UK citizen. You can care about Israel [48:15] and you can care about care about [48:16] Palestinians and Israelis. Look at that [48:18] guys. So no, we don't accept your [48:21] assurances that we are safe under your [48:23] watch. You may see no connection between [48:26] the ceaseless vilification of Israel, [48:27] the blood liels that you and your party [48:30] regularly trot out and hostility to Jews [48:32] in his countries, but we do. And they go [48:35] on and they finalize. This is a direct [48:38] result of you and your comrades [48:41] obsessive and ignorantly one-sided view [48:44] of one of the world's most intractable [48:46] conflicts and your determination to [48:47] bring that obsession into every facet of [48:50] life here in Britain. [48:52] >> Amazing. [48:53] >> You're here. Amazing. [48:54] >> I don't think I have to add anything to [48:57] that letter, but it is on the record. It [49:00] is back at you. And just like I said, [49:02] it's really important to call out those [49:05] those things that you think maybe well [49:06] they're a small minority. It is very [49:09] important for this to be seen and [49:11] understood. This is how you respond to [49:13] people who are trying to piss on your [49:15] leg and tell you it's raining. By the [49:18] way, it's so uncharacteristic [49:21] of British Jews [49:24] and very that's especially notable [49:27] because British Jews, unlike American [49:29] Jews who are very in-your-face, uh [49:31] whatever their positions are, which are [49:32] usually liberal and all that, but [49:34] doesn't matter. Very in-your-face and [49:36] lobby for things. British Jews have [49:38] always said, you know, don't make waves. [49:40] We're we we that's not that's not their [49:42] style. This letter is like we have had [49:46] it. No more nice guy. No more [49:48] >> unofficial letters by the way. [49:50] [laughter] [49:50] >> Not like just one guy. [49:52] >> I love that. [49:53] >> And no more stiff upper lip where these [49:55] anti-semites are concerned. [49:56] >> Yeah. Yeah. Gloves off. [49:58] >> I want to piggy back off your off your [50:00] hero because my hero this week is the UK [50:02] Jewish community. I actually just came [50:04] back. I spent October 7th there. Uh and [50:07] during October 7th itself, the [50:09] Metropolitan Police allowed a an [50:12] anti-Israel, I would really say pro- [50:14] Hamas or pro terror protest uh from the [50:16] student movement to go throughout the [50:18] city uh in Russell Square. And then we [50:20] also saw a global day of action on [50:22] October 10th. So multiple anti-Is [50:25] massive anti-Israel protests on the [50:27] streets of London. Uh sickening scenes, [50:30] explicit support for terror in many of [50:32] them. Uh, but I want to highlight the UK [50:34] Jewish community as my hero because [50:36] despite the fact that this has been [50:38] allowed to happen, that their government [50:40] is not, I'm sorry, is not protecting [50:42] them and has not since October 7th, [50:45] despite the fact that the government [50:46] now, the current one is literally [50:49] shilling for what I would say [50:51] terrorists. I mean, the the rhetoric [50:53] that they're using is contributing to [50:55] the demonization and the attacks on the [50:57] Jewish community. And despite that, they [50:59] are quite resilient. um they are pushing [51:02] back. They have taken a stand with [51:04] comments like what you just read. Uh but [51:06] many many others and and I'm [51:08] consistently inspired by their courage [51:10] and resilience to stand in the streets [51:13] even if it's only 30 of them to counter [51:16] the thousands of pro- jihad radicals [51:20] that have taken over particularly the [51:22] city of London but really all of the UK. [51:25] I know that it's difficult. I know that [51:27] many Jews in the UK are planning to or [51:29] if they're not planning, they're [51:31] considering uh leaving the United [51:32] Kingdom because of this and that's [51:34] understandable. But at the same time, I [51:36] want to commend the entire Jewish [51:38] community there for really uh standing [51:40] strong in the face of of incredible [51:44] pressure, harassment, of violent [51:46] attacks, targeting by the Islamic regime [51:48] in Iran. I mean, they are really on the [51:50] front lines of a war that people aren't [51:53] realizing. And I mean a physical war. We [51:56] have seen repeated attacks on this [51:58] Jewish community. There was one that was [51:59] just foiled on Yum Kipur this year. [52:01] There was a terror attack that was [52:03] supposed to take place at the same [52:04] Manchester synagogue that was targeted [52:06] the year before on Yum Kipur. And [52:08] despite that, the Jewish community is [52:10] still showing up. They're still [52:12] committed to who they are. They're still [52:13] taking a strong stand. Uh and I commend [52:16] them for that. Um your inspiration is [52:18] something that inspires me as well. And [52:20] I'm very grateful to you uh for having [52:22] uh I guess that stiff upper lip although [52:24] it's not the only thing happening now. [52:26] They are starting to be more and more uh [52:28] forceful in their demands of their [52:30] government that should take action and [52:32] should be protecting them. So Kodakavod [52:34] to the UK Jewish community my heroes of [52:36] the week. [52:37] >> Well done. [52:38] >> Bellamy, who's your hero? [52:39] >> Uh my heroes are the three creators of [52:42] Naza the real story. and that came out [52:46] last week and I didn't make it to an [52:49] event and I ended up going to watch it [52:50] at my friend's place. So, um it was [52:53] created by Roy Denino, who's an Israeli [52:55] um entrepreneur and also an IDF reserve [52:58] lieutenant. Um Ariel Avoc, an Israeli [53:00] attorney and an IDF reser major and [53:02] Hagai Gutman who is uh within the [53:04] creative space as an editor, director, [53:06] musician and so forth. I found this to [53:09] be very educational for me to watch it. [53:13] I have not watched this Hollywood craze [53:16] wet dream that everybody else is [53:18] obsessed with. [53:20] >> I I have not seen that. But I wanted to [53:22] watch this because I wanted to know [53:24] exactly what I would be going into if I [53:26] ever had to have a conversation. And I [53:28] left with more questions and being more [53:30] frustrated because if the global [53:33] majority of the world actually knew the [53:35] amount of red tape within the IDF before [53:38] even one thing is, you know, the button [53:42] is pressed for something. The amount of [53:44] frustration I had sitting there going, I [53:46] don't understand. They're like, we're [53:48] the most like human like on me. Like it [53:50] has to go through this person and then [53:52] this person and we know it's there but [53:54] it has to be approved. I was so [53:56] frustrated by it. But that to me goes to [53:59] show exactly what they mean when they [54:02] say there are pamphlets that are [54:05] dropped. There are warnings that are [54:06] sent out. Like it's all about protecting [54:08] civilian life before everything else. Is [54:10] it a perfect army? No. It's war. [54:12] Mistakes do happen. But if anything, [54:14] like I said last week, when they do make [54:16] a mistake, they're the first ones on the [54:18] front to say, "Hey, we messed up." And [54:21] we'll look into it. We'll investigate it [54:22] and we'll see what needs to happen from [54:24] there. But this opened my eyes in a way [54:27] of why I think I could have never served [54:29] because I don't have the patience and [54:31] I'll probably be in jail the first day [54:32] because I would actually go off. [54:34] >> I'm not I'm that type of person. I would [54:36] I would go, "What? What do you mean? [54:37] There's a threat right in front of me. [54:38] It needs to go." But it just it it gave [54:41] me such a a better understanding and an [54:44] even appreciation of who the people that [54:47] are standing on the front lines that are [54:49] defending this country [54:51] >> truly are in the real story. They talk [54:53] about it. They mention that when they [54:55] say, "Okay, we know that this is what's [54:57] going on." They tell you, "Well, this is [54:59] the reason why there's so much tape. [55:02] This is the reason why we can't just do [55:03] whatever we feel like. Even though the [55:05] lieutenants say this, is it checked off [55:06] when it goes under international law? [55:08] like where do we actually stand on what [55:09] we're doing? That's the one part. But [55:12] every single time that we've said they [55:13] use their own as human shields, this is [55:15] what they do. They show it in the real [55:17] story. They show you, okay, when we tell [55:19] you that this is a school, this is a [55:22] school. This is what the school is [55:23] holding. They show you all the weapons. [55:25] They show you exactly what's hang up. [55:27] It's the fact that it's a classroom. [55:28] They show you the books that are [55:29] actually being used to radicalize these. [55:31] It's there. [55:32] >> Yeah. [55:32] >> Also, I would just like to add two [55:34] little points here. First of all, I [55:37] think people outside of Israel don't [55:38] realize that if soldiers in Gaza even [55:41] write graffiti on the walls or do [55:43] something, they get they get called up [55:46] for maybe a court marshal, not always, [55:48] but they get severe reprimands. I mean, [55:51] I know, you know, because of having [55:53] kids, I have a son who [Â __Â ] 300 days in [55:56] Gaza, the stories of, you know, they're [55:58] not allowed, forget about the killing of [56:00] people. They're not even allowed to [56:01] write graffiti or mess up their uniforms [56:04] with something. I mean, they're in [56:06] trouble if they step out of line. That's [56:08] number one. Number two, if we wanted to [56:12] commit genocide in Gaza on October 7th, [56:16] we could have wiped out, [56:18] >> correct, [56:18] >> Gaza in what, 10 minutes? I don't know, [56:21] 15 minutes maybe, with our air force and [56:24] our army. Gaza is tiny. We could have [56:28] just flattened it. And those pictures [56:30] being circulated on the internet, oh, [56:33] this is flattened Gaza. It's interesting [56:34] they don't show you Gaza city with new [56:36] restaurants opening up. Interesting [56:38] >> cafes. Also, it's interesting that, you [56:41] know, 70% of Gaza buildings have been [56:43] destroyed. Yet, there's no discussion of [56:44] the fact that a huge portion of those [56:47] are buildings that were booby trapped [56:48] after we issued evacuation notices. The [56:51] Hamas booby trapped homes in order to [56:53] try to kill our soldiers who were [56:55] occupied by doing several times the [56:58] booby traps. We know Yakya Lighter, our [57:01] uh ambassa, Israel's ambassador to the [57:03] US, whose son is um is uh in critical [57:07] condition in the hospital because of a [57:09] car ramming that he suffered. But his [57:11] older son and his eldest son was killed [57:14] in Gaza in a booby trapped house. So, [57:18] you know, we know about this that you [57:20] don't hear about. [57:20] >> No, it's never discussed. And another [57:22] thing they talked about the AI, you [57:24] know, programs that categorize different [57:26] intelligence data and, you know, [57:29] determine uh the likelihood that someone [57:31] is a member of Hamas or Islamic Jihad. [57:33] The documentary incorrectly claimed uh [57:36] that that is who AI is deciding who [57:39] lives or dies. That's not how it works. [57:41] [laughter] That's not how it works at [57:42] all. Anybody who says that doesn't know [57:43] what they're talking about inside of the [57:45] army. All strikes are gone or go through [57:48] a legal review that is actually [57:50] independent of the chain of command of [57:52] the IDF. Uh the only people who decide [57:55] whether a strike takes place or not is [57:57] um a person, a human being. There is no [57:59] AI that's determining who lives and who [58:01] dies. So there's just some flatout [58:03] incorrect information in this in this [58:05] documentary. And uh it was very [58:07] disappointing. But you know, I feel like [58:08] we need to have a whole episode on [58:09] [music] on Naza. But but we do have to [58:12] wrap up for today. Thank you so much for [58:14] joining us again on the quad here on JNS [58:17] and we'll be back next week.
