He's a hate-monger, a [00:12] hateful bigot, and a hypocritical [00:14] performative activist who figured out [00:16] that outrage, division, and demonizing [00:19] people can be extremely profitable on [00:21] social media. [00:22] And now he suggests that Jews who [00:25] support the Jewish people and Israel [00:27] somehow bear the responsibility for [00:29] anti-Semitism against against us. You [00:32] know what? That's not activism. That's [00:34] victim-blaming with a business model. [00:37] I am proudly Jewish. I'm proudly [00:38] Zionist, proudly pro-Israel, proudly [00:40] American because I believe in freedom, [00:43] democracy, self-determination, and the [00:46] right of Jewish people to live safely in [00:48] our ancestral homeland and everywhere [00:50] else people live. I don't apologize for [00:53] that. [00:54] And I definitely don't need Hasan [00:56] Piker's permission for that. [00:58] Jews do not cause anti-Semitism. [01:02] Anti-Jewish hateful bigots and [01:05] anti-Semites cause anti-Semitism. So, if [01:08] you admire Hasan [01:10] here's my challenge for you. [01:12] Stop confusing popularity with [01:14] credibility. Stop confusing provocation [01:18] with courage and stop confusing bigotry [01:21] with activism. Hasan isn't [01:23] fighting hate. He's demonstrating how [01:25] profitable hate can become when you [01:27] package it as a virtue.
If Hasan Piker is your moral authority, recalibrate your moral compass.
A massive following doesn’t make a hate-monger credible. Bigotry doesn’t become activism because you monetize it, livestream it, and call it “social justice.”
