Transcript [00:00] how it started. [00:01] >> I think there is a genocide going on [00:03] there. [00:03] >> And how it ended [00:05] >> and so that's why I feel very confident [00:08] saying there isn't a genocide. [00:11] >> Okay, fair enough. I mean, yeah, I dude [00:14] I I I'm not I'm not a scholar in it. [00:20] >> What's up, man? [00:22] >> How much, man? [00:25] >> From Israel? [00:26] >> I am. You from the UK? [00:28] >> Yeah. What's your what's your opinion on [00:30] Israel and go uh Gaza? [00:34] >> Um we're winning. [00:37] >> Well, you have no empathy for even if [00:40] you think the war is just, do you have [00:42] no empathy for the victims? [00:45] >> So, depends on who you determine as the [00:47] victims would be [00:48] >> not not Hamas. The the people who say [00:52] are nothing to do with Hamas. Um, so [00:56] yeah, I have empathy for any innocent [00:59] people that are caught up in the [01:00] conflict. Yes. [01:01] >> Cool. So, does that matter more than [01:04] winning? [01:05] >> Um, no. Winning is the most important [01:07] thing because my children's survival [01:09] depends on it and I put them above [01:11] everything else. We're surrounded by [01:13] millions and millions of people that [01:14] want to slaughter us. And it's [01:17] absolutely essential that we are [01:19] victorious because if we don't, it's the [01:22] end of my family. It's the end of me. Uh [01:24] it's there will be a genuine genocide [01:27] rather than the mythical genocide that [01:30] they talk about in the west. [01:32] >> I think I think there is a genocide [01:34] going on. Like even if it's even if you [01:36] want to argue that it's just like it it [01:38] there is a genocide. [01:40] >> There's no such thing as a just [01:41] genocide. [01:44] >> But okay. So then objectively that there [01:46] is still a genocide going on. [01:48] >> Okay. What is a genocide? Well, maybe we [01:51] understand the word differently. What's [01:52] the genocide? [01:52] >> Okay. To my to my understanding, it's a [01:54] mass murdering of of people. Intentional [01:56] mass murdering of people. [01:58] >> Yeah. Yeah. To to with the intention to [02:00] destroy that people in part. Absolutely. [02:02] >> No. I I I suppose that would be that [02:04] would mean more like ethnic cleansing or [02:05] whatever. Genocide. [02:07] >> The 1948 genocide convention as ratified [02:10] in 1948 [02:13] written in 1948 um by Raphael Lmin etc. [02:17] It's to do with the destruction of a [02:19] people. Ethnic cleansing is is a doesn't [02:22] have a legal definition [02:24] >> and it describes the movement of a the [02:27] people from an area from a territory [02:30] cleansing them. Terrible terrorist words [02:32] from an area. Um historically [02:36] it was referred to as a population [02:37] transform and was at times even seen as [02:39] a noble solution to [02:42] um conflicts that could not be [02:44] reconciled reconciled that just [02:47] continued along ethnreligious lines or [02:49] ethnic lines religious lines they would [02:52] separate those populations kind of like [02:53] fighting children. So they're two very [02:55] different things. one's transfer, one is [02:58] the intentional slaughter of people or [03:01] the attempt to destroy a people in part [03:03] a whole. So, [03:05] >> got you. [03:06] >> Okay. [03:07] >> Yeah. Um, so okay. So, is that so so the [03:10] the the literal definition of a genocide [03:13] is not just a a a mass a general mass [03:17] murdering uh intentional mass murdering [03:19] of people. [03:19] >> No. So let's say you have a this is [03:22] terrible analogy but example but you [03:24] have a football field filled with random [03:28] people and somebody just goes in and [03:30] murders them all [03:32] >> but they're not there's nothing there's [03:34] no intent behind destroying a collective [03:37] of people because they are a people to [03:38] bring about their destruction. That [03:40] wouldn't be a genocide. That would be a [03:41] massacre. They're two of everything. [03:43] Genocide is to do with intent. you're [03:45] intending to attempt to destroy a people [03:49] just so when you look at the Nazis, the [03:51] Nazis objective was to destroy to erase [03:54] the Jewish people from the face of [03:56] >> So they they were actually attempting a [03:58] genocide. Okay. [03:58] >> Yeah. That's that's why they coined the [04:00] term to describe the Holocaust. There [04:01] have been other genocide. [04:03] >> Israel is not is not you would say that [04:05] Israel is not attempting to genocide the [04:07] Palestinian people or to commit [04:09] genocide. [04:10] >> Quite obviously not. They provided [04:13] they've facilitated the movement of two [04:14] billion kilograms of aid. They've [04:16] evacuated entire city. Rafa had 1.6 [04:19] million people in. Rafa doesn't exist [04:21] today. The 1.6 million people were [04:24] evacuated at risk to Israeli soldiers to [04:28] minimize civilian casualties. The the [04:31] cas the death toll is incredibly low [04:34] compared to other conflicts. But and [04:36] when you can factor in the fact that [04:39] it's one of the most densely populated [04:41] places and one of the most complex [04:43] battle arenas you could imagine to have [04:45] such a low death toll over a three-year [04:47] war where six times the tonnage of [04:50] explosives have been dropped than on [04:52] Hiroshima and Nagasaki where 250,000 [04:55] were killed like that. Yes, clearly [04:58] Israel is not trying to kill civilians. [05:01] You don't evacuate cities. You don't [05:03] vaccinate a million Palestinians against [05:06] polio. You don't provide facilitate the [05:10] movement of two billion kilograms. You [05:12] don't provide them with water if your [05:14] intention is to genocide them. [05:18] >> Gotcha. [05:20] >> I mean it goes even more if you have you [05:22] looked at the numbers at all. [05:24] >> Uh no. No. [05:25] >> Okay. So numbers are important. [05:27] Obviously, every life is sacred and if [05:31] one [05:33] five-year-old five-month old baby is [05:35] killed, that's devastating. In a [05:38] hundred, that's heartbreaking. Like, the [05:41] numbers matter. [05:43] In Tigra, the conflict's just started [05:45] off again. The year before October the [05:48] 7th, do you know how many people died in [05:51] Ethiopia in the Tigray war? [05:53] >> How many? [05:55] 600,000 [05:56] plus. [05:58] >> Wow. [05:58] >> No, most people have never even heard of [06:00] it. In Gaza, the death toll is 73. That [06:04] includes around 7,000 people a year from [06:06] natural deaths. The Ministry of Health [06:09] just issued 7,000 deaths for 2025. [06:13] That's tracking largely almost identical [06:15] to 2022 [06:17] um with a few COVID deaths in there as [06:19] well. [06:21] So it's say it's safe to say that [06:24] probably around 18,000 of the 73,000 are [06:28] people that died of natural causes, [06:30] pneumonia, etc. And so you're now left [06:33] with 50,000. [06:35] Israel says it's killed 25,000 Hamas [06:37] fighters and Islamic jihad fighters, [06:39] which makes sense. The numbers seem [06:41] about right when you look at how many. [06:44] So they had around um 50,000 militants [06:47] in Hamas alone at the beginning of the [06:49] war. [06:50] that Israel claims it's killed around [06:52] 25,000. That leaves 25,000 civilians. [06:54] That's a one civilian to one militant [06:58] ratio. That's not a genocide. That's an [07:01] intentional targeting of combatants. And [07:04] tragically, like in any war, [07:06] non-combatants are also killed, but a [07:08] far lower rate than the surrounding [07:10] conflicts Syria Afghanistan [07:14] Sudan today at the moment. And so that's [07:19] why I feel very confident saying there [07:21] isn't a genocide. [07:23] >> Okay, fair enough. I mean, yeah, I did I [07:26] I I'm not I'm not a scholar in it. I [07:30] suppose I'm not 100%, you know, I don't [07:31] know every angle. I don't know every [07:33] detail. [07:34] >> Um but yeah, you know, I suppose if if [07:38] everything that you've just said is [07:39] true, then yeah, makes sense. That does [07:41] make sense. It seems more like an an [07:42] intentional [07:44] uh war against a genuine terrorist group [07:49] >> as opposed to a a like a genocide of of [07:52] of a people. [07:53] >> I I have another question. It's [07:54] completely unrelated though because you [07:56] are Israeli. So I have the I have the [07:58] opportunity to ask you. [08:00] >> Uh what do you think about uh the whole [08:02] Israel has too much influence in [08:05] American and Western politics as a [08:07] whole? What do you think about that? [08:08] Again, it's another one of those um [08:12] tropes that's wielded out which has no [08:14] basis. So, Israel's influence in America [08:18] are American Jewish citizens [08:20] who have a connection of sorts to [08:24] Israel. Half the Jews in the world live [08:26] in Israel. If you're not living there, [08:28] you have family that live there. And [08:31] even if you don't have family, it's [08:32] highly likely you see Israel as a place [08:35] of refuge for Jews who face persecution [08:38] and kind of tie Jewish survival to the [08:42] existence of that state. So it makes [08:43] sense that American Jews would be [08:45] interested. But then you also factor in [08:47] a huge American Christian base. And so [08:50] you hear of an organization like Apac, [08:52] you instantly think, "Oh, that's [08:53] Israel." Actually, the majority of Apex [08:56] members are American Christians who for [09:00] religious reasons have a huge love for [09:02] Israel. And so, the influence that [09:06] Israel wields over America is true. [09:09] There's a lobby there. It's a talking [09:12] point for many politicians, but that's [09:14] because there's a large voting base and [09:16] an influential v voting base in America [09:19] that supports Israel. Why am I saying [09:22] that? because there's foreign actors who [09:26] have nothing to do with America who have [09:29] way more influence than Israel. So if [09:31] you take someone like Qatar, the [09:33] estimates range from 7 billion to a [09:36] hundred billion dollars of money that [09:39] they've put into American universities, [09:42] which obviously has huge influence on [09:44] the next generation. We are seeing the [09:47] most hostile youth to say Israel that [09:52] we've ever seen in America. And it's not [09:54] coincidental that it's the time when the [09:56] Qataris, whose primary objective is the [09:58] destruction of Israel, are piping [10:00] billions and billions of dollars into [10:02] American institutions. Could you imagine [10:05] if Netanyahu gave Donald Trump a $400 [10:09] million private plane? the entire [10:11] internet would explode and say, "Look, [10:13] the Israelis, they're buying the [10:15] Americans." The Qataris did that. No one [10:18] even noticed or barely noticed that [10:20] Trump's now flying around in a jet that [10:23] was gifted to him by the Qataris that [10:25] So, the Qataris [10:27] wield huge influence over America and [10:30] nobody says anything. The Russians do it [10:32] in a different way. The Russians uh run [10:35] information campaigns in the media and [10:37] social media and they're trying to [10:39] interfere in America. There are many [10:40] many nations. The Chinese are pushing [10:43] hard at influencing America. Israel [10:46] obviously like any other nation has some [10:49] influence. But in terms of over America, [10:52] the majority of influence is coming from [10:55] American citizens who happen to support [10:58] Israel rather than the foreign actors [10:59] like Qatar, Russia, etc. where it's [11:02] external nations that are trying to [11:04] influence the global hedgemony. [11:07] >> Okay. [11:09] Fair enough. [11:11] >> Any more questions while you got an [11:12] Israeli [laughter] [11:14] >> mate? That's that's that's that's about [11:16] it, my friend. Okay. [11:17] >> So, I have a question for you. You're [11:18] from the UK. [11:21] >> What's going on in the UK? Like, is [11:23] there going to be civil war? Like, we're [11:25] looking at it from [11:27] >> Maybe, man. Maybe. Uh, we've got a [11:29] massive um immigration problem where [11:33] British people are are being treated [11:35] like secondass citizens. really it's [11:37] it's it's really really bad. Um and [11:42] obviously uh these these people from [11:44] these countries who are coming over [11:46] illegally are incredibly unpopular [11:49] because they have incredibly perverse [11:51] cultures that we don't want here. They [11:53] don't they don't mix with our cultures, [11:54] right? Uh it's not like we've got a Pole [11:57] coming over or or a Ukrainian or I don't [12:00] know an Italian coming over where the [12:02] culture stems from, you know, maybe a [12:06] the same religion. We say Christianity, [12:08] some kind of like church, right? Culture [12:10] stems from that and it kind of works. It [12:12] kind of works and and that sort of [12:13] multiculturalism works. They're coming [12:15] from countries where, you know, it's [12:17] quite normal to be your wife. It's quite [12:19] normal to in some cases have sex with [12:21] goats, Pakistan. Um and and they're [12:25] they're not being forced to assimilate. [12:27] There's no forced assimilation. Uh even [12:30] worse so like I said the the British [12:32] people are being uh uh being treated [12:35] like secondclass citizens in the sense [12:37] that these illegal uh immigrants who are [12:40] coming over are being given for big [12:43] house, you know, very nice car, uh very [12:46] nice phone, you know, just for coming [12:48] over and just for claiming that they are [12:50] a refugee. Um whereas you know British [12:53] people are getting getting all [12:55] essentially. [12:55] >> You want to know the irony of it? My [12:57] family were refugees to England. Um they [13:01] came they escaped persecution in Europe [13:04] >> and England was seen as a safe refu like [13:07] a safe haven. Every in every synagogue [13:10] in the UK on a Saturday they say a [13:12] prayer of thanks to the government and [13:14] the the monarchy for giving us this [13:17] place of sanctuary. I fled the UK two [13:21] years ago because it was no longer safe [13:23] for Jews. I had knives pulled on me. I [13:25] got death threats on a daily basis. So, [13:28] while the UK is allowing refugees in [13:30] from Syria, from then talking about [13:32] bringing loads in from Gaza, good luck. [13:34] Um and [13:37] I fled the UK. I remember there was a [13:39] guy came um into my local kosher [13:41] supermarket in London wielding a huge [13:44] knife asking people if they were Jewish [13:47] and then trying to stab them. Do you [13:49] know how many years he served in jail? [13:52] >> How many? [13:54] >> Zero. Do you know how many weeks? Zero. [13:56] Do you know how many days? Zero. You [13:58] could England was at the point where you [14:00] could go into a kosher supermarket and [14:02] try and murder Jews and you'd be walking [14:04] out on the streets as there is no future [14:07] for my children. Like forget about the [14:09] economic collapse and the death spiral. [14:11] But there's nothing that binds Britain. [14:14] I'll give you an example. [14:17] They deliver it to a local shop here and [14:19] there's a shelf in the shop filled like [14:21] the back of the shop is just filled with [14:23] shelves. You walk in, you find your [14:26] parcel and you walk out. No one checks [14:29] an ID. You don't put a code in. It's not [14:31] locked in a locker. The whole place [14:33] operates on trust. It's like the UK used [14:36] to be 30 years ago. You know your [14:38] neighbors. You trust each other. Your [14:41] hoses are left open. the UK today. Like [14:45] if you had a shop like that with a load [14:47] of parcels, all the parcels would be [14:49] gone within 15 minutes and they'd be [14:51] listed on on marketplace. [laughter] [14:55] Yeah. [14:55] >> Few minutes later. [14:57] >> Yeah. And that's and that's why um [14:59] that's why there might be a civil war. [15:01] Honestly, it's you know the because even [15:04] a party like Reform, are you familiar [15:07] with Reform? Nigel. Yeah. Even even that [15:09] doesn't seem very promising. [15:11] It's uh you know because Nigel Fra [15:14] doesn't have like a great reputation or [15:15] whatever. Um yeah, I don't know man. [15:18] It's in shambles. It's in absolute [15:20] shambles. Uh [15:22] >> look, I'm going to say this in awesome. [15:24] I moved to Israel from the UK in the [15:26] middle of the war and I've never felt [15:28] safer. And now me and all my Israeli [15:31] friends are praying for you guys. [15:33] [laughter] [15:36] >> Hashem Yesh. God watch over there. [15:38] [laughter] [15:40] All right, bro. Good chatting. [15:42] >> Take it easy, man. Take it easy. [15:43] >> God bless, bro. Take care.
