On Sunday, the Green Party of England and Wales adopted its “Zionism is Racism” motion and backed a single state across all of historic Palestine. The consequence: Israel would cease to exist as the Jewish state. The party calls this a commitment to equality. But denying Jewish national self-determination is no foundation for equality. Supporting Palestinian rights does not require abolishing Israel. The Israeli government has responded by barring Green Party leader Zack Polanski from entering the country. Britain needs serious answers on living costs, public services and the environment. Its Green Party has instead chosen to make opposition to Jewish statehood an explicit part of its political identity. At Shurat HaDin, we see the danger when campaigns against Israel’s existence are presented as human-rights advocacy. Before October 7, Eran Efrat had around 30,000–35,000 followers who knew him largely for his personal stories and business content. After the Hamas attack, he put that audience to work. What began as an effort to buy urgently needed tactical gear grew rapidly. Eran used his international trade experience and social media network to help source equipment and track what soldiers actually needed. Eventually, the wider operation raised more than $50 million and began collaborating directly with Israel’s Ministry of Defense to get equipment into Israel quickly. Everyone aboard survived. The investigation now needs to establish exactly what happened in that cockpit and why. But if Israeli officials' initial account is confirmed, 174 passengers may have escaped a mass-casualty attack in the sky. This is a developing story. But the most disturbing part of this video is how quickly we can forget it. Meanwhile, on that same Yom Kippur, a gunman reportedly fired more than 20 rounds at a Belleville, Ontario synagogue with worshippers inside. On Sunday, the Green Party of England and Wales adopted its “Zionism is Racism” motion and backed a single state across all of historic Palestine. The consequence: Israel would cease to exist as the Jewish state. The party calls this a commitment to equality. But denying Jewish national self-determination is no foundation for equality. Supporting Palestinian rights does not require abolishing Israel. The Israeli government has responded by barring Green Party leader Zack Polanski from entering the country. Britain needs serious answers on living costs, public services and the environment. Its Green Party has instead chosen to make opposition to Jewish statehood an explicit part of its political identity. At the heart of the case is Yonatan Samerano, 21, murdered on October 7 after fleeing the Nova music festival. Our lawsuit alleges that UNRWA employees took his body to Gaza in a UNRWA vehicle. His family waited 625 days for his body to be returned. While Karina Ariev was being held hostage by Hamas in Gaza, she made herself a promise: If she survived and came home, she would celebrate her best friend Aviv’s birthday every year as if she were still beside her. Karina came home. Aviv did not. The two young women served together at the Nahal Oz base. On October 7, Hamas terrorists murdered Aviv Hajaj at just 19 years old and kidnapped Karina into Gaza. She remembers their final conversation at 6:30 that morning. Aviv’s hands holding and hugging her between explosions. The hours they spent laughing together. The WhatsApp conversations she wishes she could still open. “How did it go from having you constantly by my side, to you being with me only on a flag or a sweater?” Karina survived captivity and returned to Israel, but she came home to a world without her best friend. “Since that cursed morning, I’ve been living with half a soul, without you” May Aviv Hajaj’s memory forever be a blessing. 🤍

On October 6, 1973, while Jews across Israel were fasting and praying in synagogue, Egypt and Syria launched a surprise attack. More than 2,600 Israeli soldiers were killed in the war that followed. Israel's enemies chose a holy day in 1973, and Hamas chose a holy day in 2023. Israel learned both times that it has to be ready every single day of the year.

⏱️ 𝗜𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟲𝟳 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗲𝘄𝘀. A Flydubai co-pilot attacked the captain of an Israel-bound passenger plane in what UAE authorities now call a terrorist attack. New reports say the co-pilot had visited extremist websites, while authorities in several countries investigate his background and possible radicalization. But online, some people apparently didn't need an investigation. Just 𝟲𝟳 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲'𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹, the first accusation blaming Israel appeared. Within 12 hours, researchers identified 𝟮,𝟵𝟲𝟯 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝘀𝗿𝗮𝗲𝗹, 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱, 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗮𝗵𝘂, 𝗭𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗲𝘄𝘀. Of more than 4,100 posts they monitored using the phrase “false flag,” roughly 72% promoted those conspiracy claims. Media figures including Ana Kasparian, Jackson Hinkle and Bassem Youssef also suggested the attack could have been a false flag operation designed to portray Israel as the victim. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀. 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴.
