Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Yechiel Leiter’s son Neria is fighting for his life after being critically wounded in a terrorist attack today. Another son, Moshe, was killed in battle shortly after October 7. Please join me in praying for Neria’s speedy and full recovery. x.com/yechielleiter/…

I have yet to read a review of Benjamin Moser's book about Jewish anti-Zionism—including in publications that are exceedingly critical of Israel—that wasn't scathing to the point of outright mockery.

Zack Polanski is about as hostile to Israel as you can possibly be. What these Green Party members object to is his Jewishness. A valuable lesson to anyone else thinking of throwing their fellow Jews under the bus: In the end, to the antisemites, a Jew is a Jew is a Jew. x.com/hoffman_noa/st…

Thank you, @AIJAC_Update, for this great video summarizing @EinatWilf, @emilykschrader, @HenMazzig, and my arguments against the notion that Israel “never wanted” peace with the Palestinians, presented at the Oxford Union.

We all said studies will be written about how utterly the mainstream media failed the public in its coverage of the war between Israel and Hamas since October 7. And now one has been. Shameful and embarrassing. Heads should roll, but they won't. x.com/EFischberger/s…

After I made the case for Israel at the Oxford Union, a stranger asked me a question I couldn’t quite shake. As Rosh Hashanah approaches, I’ve come to think it has something important to say about the year ahead. My latest for Jerusalem Journal: jerusalemjournal.com/p/the-year-we-…

A wonderful evening celebrating America’s 250th Independence Day in Jerusalem. Israelis came together to celebrate Israel’s closest ally and the bonds between our two countries. Thank you to @USAmbIsrael Huckabee and the @USEmbassyJLM team for a fantastic celebration! 🇺🇸🇮🇱

@joshtpm Calm down, Josh. I did not suggest and do not believe that you are such a Jew. I agree that your record on these issues is strong, which is why I find your insistence on “getting to yes” on someone whose hostility to Jews and to Israel horrifies so many Michiganders and delights

@joshtpm I think some Jews—in Michigan, NYC, and elsewhere—put their partisan politics before their Jewish identities and I will never, ever get behind that. If we are not for ourselves, no one will be for us, and the fact that some Jews still don’t get that simply boggles the mind.

The fact that he said this *with Piker in the car* is just... *chef's kiss.* The bottom line is that El-Sayed won't condemn Piker because they share the same views—including the violently antisemitic ones Piker expresses openly and El-Sayed won't for fear of scaring off normies. x.com/GreatLakes_HQ/…

A few thoughts about the narrowly averted disaster aboard the flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv today: 1. There were multiple failures here, including that the co-pilot and apparent perpetrator wasn't flagged in advance and that he was able to conceal and use a weapon of some sort to attack the captain while they were locked in the cockpit. 2. Flydubai is a government-owned airline and this incident is deeply embarrassing to both the airline and the UAE government. Emirati authorities will do everything in their considerable power to investigate what happened and prevent it from reoccurring. 3. The UAE is the only country in the world, aside from Israel, whose airlines have flown to and from Israel almost without interruption since October 7, 2023. The UAE has proven to be a deeply committed friend of Israel's and the Emiratis ascribe tremendous importance to both the bilateral relationship between the two countries and the maintenance of the air link between them. Flydubai's Tel Aviv route is one of the airline's busiest and most frequent, with up to ten daily flights in each direction. All of this reinforces the previous point: the Emiratis will do whatever they can to prevent this from happening again. 4. The only reason everyone on the plane is alive is because of the Indian captain, who did whatever he could to save his passengers after being savagely attacked by his co-pilot, and the Israeli passengers who decided to take matters into their own hands, break into the cockpit, subdue the perpetrator, and enable the plane to land safely. This is a tremendous testament to their heroism and bravery and to the Israeli spirit that has shown itself throughout Israel's existence and particularly during the past three years. 5. A word of appreciation for Saudi authorities, who—by all accounts—handled this incident with great professionalism, coordinated closely with Israeli authorities, and treated the passengers with courtesy and care. I am surely not the only Israeli who breathed a sigh of relief knowing that the plane had landed in Saudi Arabia. I'm not sure that would have been the case just a few years ago.
